Why did I choose this school:
Being known as one of the outstandingly performing university in the PH, with that being leveled to UP, I took the chance to be attend this university.
About WVSU Main:
The education there is very competitive and high-quality, at the same time, equipped us very well to be competent in the different fields of Biology. Also, as a government-funded universities, for a Biology course, the tuition their is incredibly low, even to those who pay more because they are in the highest bracket.
Everyone there is very friendly, but, all at the same time, competitive. Taga-West students never settle for less, they strive harder and better in attempts of living up to it's core values: Service, Harmony, Excellence. As a university, it is a student-friendly place, nurturing the academic, social, emotional and physical capacity of a student. The university is saturated with different activities that ensure that the students "don't miss out their life as a college student" while all at the same time, maintaining the crucial balance of academics.
The faculties are very knowledgeable of their fields, and they readily assist the students, both Taga-West and outsiders alike.
The facilities are up to date. They catch up to the trend of the modern society to cater the needs of the student's learning.
My current job:
I am currently working as a Quality Assurance Officer for a certain Plant producing and supplying products to a certain food company. My work involves GMP and HACCP implementation, program management, sanitation inspections, checking of pH and TSS (brix) of finished product, raw material monitoring, issuance of Certificate of Analysis (COA), analysis of third-party results, alignment of the GMP Programs and monitorings, setting up of a microbiological laboratory, microbiological analysis of the food samples, and coordinating with third-party associates.
How long did it take to find a job:
It took me a month after my graduation before I landed a job. But before that, I applied for 52+ more different jobs, both in my field and not.
