About Visayas State University: Nursing in our school is very challenging. They make it sure that every student they have is a competent and knowledgeable one. Our curriculum is based to it's core competencies. I am very glad that our that the program offered a ladderized system whereas we graduated in Caregiver after 2 years then proceeded to BS in Nursing after 2 years.

The professors were so intelligent and with good teaching skills. Everything we asked, they will do their best to clarify it and make it simpler to us.

The atmosphere is very conducive for learning. Since our school is the tourist spot in our province. I may say that the environment is smoke-free and student friendly. It is said that our school is between the mountain and sea. No doubt that is it like a school in a garden.

My current job: I am currently taking training program for newly registered nurses.
After graduation, I have to take the Local Board Examination for Nurses after few weeks of vacation. It took 5-6 months for me to review. Fortunately I passed the exam.

Why did I choose this school: It was chosen by my benefactor because this university has good reputation and provides better quality education in the field of Agriculture

About Visayas State University: The atmosphere is great, very close to nature. Fresh air and clear blue sea water good for swimming and relaxation. The professors are outstanding, most of them are doctors of philosophy. They are good in training and motivating students.

My current job: I am now working as Associate Admin Officer. My tasks are mainly on accounting like reviewing invoices, issuing voucher and cheque, reviewing liquidations both from colleagues and partners and other administrative tasks.

My job now is far from what I have studied but I just what to share that after graduation I worked as agriculture technician but it is not fulfilling so I find ways to get accounting course while working so I can pursue what is in my heart at the beginning. And when start working as cashier in an NGO I found my happiness and realize this is really my passion not agriculture

How long did it take to find a job: I got the job as agriculture technician one month after graduation.
