1. CONG. REYNALDO A. CALALAY SCHOLARSHIP - An applicant for the grant must be bona fide freshman students who are residents of District I of Quezon City; must have passed the UPCAT; must be enrolled in any four-or five year course in UP Diliman; must be a Filipino Citizen; must be a full-time student and must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award; must be financially deserving (STFAP Bracket & or lower); must not have been found guilty of participating in any violent incident such as hazing and/or fraternity rumbles, whether on-campus or off-campus. 2. GREEN CROSS INC. EDUCATION PROGRAM - An applicant for the scholarship must be a third year BS Chemistry student enrolled in the University; must be a Filipino citizen; must have a weighted average of at least “2.50” for a regular load in the immediately preceding semester; must be recommended by the college of Science Secretary and Director of the Institute of Chemistry; must be financially deserving (parents’ annual gross income must not exceed P200,000.00 per annum); must be of good moral character and must not have been found guilty of participating in any violent incident such as hazing and/or fraternity rumbles whether on-campus or off-campus. 3. JOSE MARIA AND AMPARO V. BARCELON SCHOLARSHIP GRANT IN CHEMISTRY - An applicant for the grant must be a bona fide freshman student of the University of the Philippines in Diliman; must be financially needy; a student is financially needy if his/her financial situation qualifies him/her for STFAP bracket 7 or lower; must have qualified for admission in the Chemistry program; must not be enjoying any other scholarship or financial assistance; must not have been subject to disciplinary action. 4. LIBERATA SAMONTE VDA. DE REYES SCHOLARSHIP - An applicant for the grant must be bona fide BS Chemistry or BS Biology students of the University; if entering freshman, must have a general weighted average of at least 85% in high school; if already enrolled, must have an average of at least “2.5” or better during the immediately preceding semester with no grade of “4.00” or “INC”; must be financially deserving. A student is financially deserving if his financial situation qualifies him/her for STFAP Bracket 7 or lower. 5. MEGAWORLD LEADERSHIP GRANT - An applicant for the scholarship must be a Filipino citizen; must not be a recipient of any scholarship grant except the University’s scholarship program; must have no derogatory record; must be recommended by the school’s Office of Admission and Scholarship; must pass a screening to be conducted by the Megaworld Foundation Scholarship Committee; must hold outstanding academic records and top positions in official UP organizations. 6. PROF. SALUSTIANO G. TENGONCIANG SCHOLARSHIP - An applicant for the grand must be bona fide junior or senior student in the BS Chemistry program; must be Filipino citizen; must carry at least 15 units and must have passed all subjects in the semester immediately preceding the application; must be of good moral character; must be financially deserving (parents annual gross income does not exceed P180,000.00); must not be found guilty of violation of any of the rules and regulations of the University. 7. SUMITOMO CORPORATION SCHOLARSHIP - An applicant for the scholarship must be bona fide 3rd year students in any five year course and 2nd year students in any four year course; must be Filipino citizen; must have obtained a general weighted average of at least “2.00” in all subjects taken; must have no grade of “5.00” or unremoved grade of “4.00” or “incomplete”’; must not be more than 30 years of age; must not be a recipient of #E8E8E8any other scholarship; must have been recommended by a former professor/instructor; must be financially deserving; must be of good moral character.

A. Doctoral students are required to take and pass the Doctoral Admission Test in Education (DATE) before they are admitted provisionally for a period of one-semester course work or it's equivalent, after which said credits are evaluated.
For formal admission to the doctoral program, a student must have:
1. Grade of “2.0″ or better for each subject and
2. A general weighted average of “1.75″ or better.

Admission Requirements - Freshmen:
Graduates of foreign and Philippine high schools accredited by the Department of Education (DepEd) may be admitted as freshmen into the University based on the following:
1. Performance in the UP College Admission Test (UPCAT); and
2. Weighted average of final grades obtained in high school.
A total combined score of 1,200 for the verbal and mathematics subtests in the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) will also qualify an applicant for automatic admission as freshman to the University.

Admission Requirements - Transferees:
1. A certified true copy of grades (TCG) and 3 photocopies, from each college attended for evaluation, regardless of his intentions to validate his advance credits (classcards are not accepted). The TCG should be signed by the Registrar or his/her authorized representative;
Do not apply for an honorable dismissal unless you have been accepted into a program.
2. An accomplished application form (UP Form 3) which may be obtained from the Admission and Registration Section, Office of the University Registrar (OUR) upon presentation of the TCG. You are allowed to apply in not more than three (3) programs.
3. Two passport-sized photographs; and
4. A non-refundable fee of Php. 100.00 for Filipinos (Php.150.00 for resident foreign applicants or US$20 for non-resident foreign applicants).

1. Oficial transcript of academic record of undergraduate work (and graduate work, if any) – one original and two photocopies;
For evaluation purposes, photocopies of records may be accepted provided they are properly authenticated (in the case of foreign applicants, by the Department of Education or by duly designated authorities in the country of the applicant). Final admission will be subject to verification of documents submitted against the original copies of credentials. Certified English translations should also be submitted, where necessary.
Applications accompanied by photocopies of academic records not properly authenticated will not be processed.
2. Two written recommendations from former professors or experts in the field;
3. Duly accomplished application for admission form, including two (2) passport-size photographs;
4. Marriage contract (for married women applicants);

This school is included under the "Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education" law that passed in 2017.
The law covers students enrolled in State and Local universities/colleges in Bachelors and Certificate programs.
Under the Law students in accredited State and Local universities/colleges will not pay any tuition fees or misc fee.
The Law covers only first time students (students who don't already have a college degree).
However, the full implementation of this law is not clear yet.
