Additional Requirements
1. For valedictorian or salutatorian, certificate issued by the High School Principal indicating the honor or academic award received and the number of graduates

4. For applicant to the College of Fine Arts, he/she should pass the Talent Test administered by the College

1. Earned Bachelor's degree from government-recognized institution, supported by
- Original transcript of records with Special Order Number indicated therein, plus two (2) photocopies; and
- Two (2) photocopies of diploma
2. Grade weighted average of 2.00 or better in the baccalaureate degree for the master's program and 1.75 or better in the master's degree for the doctoral program; [An applicant who scores “average” in the entrance examination but whose GWA is lower than the required average may be admitted on “probation” for one semester and will qualify for readmission if he/she obtains a GWA of 2.00 or better (for master's) and 1.75 or better (for doctoral) at the end of the semester.]
3. English Language Proficiency based on TOEIC/TOEFL score or it's equivalent. In the absence of TOEIC/TOEFL, applicants whose English proficiency falls short of the standard set by the Graduate School shall be required to enrol for one semester in English for Foreign Students at College of Arts and Sciences. Applicants should come in the first week of May or the first week of October at the latest to enrol in this subject which is taught every semester. Only those who pass the course will be given a Certificate of Completion and will be allowed to enrol in a graduate program.
4. All foreign freshman students who plan to enrol are advised to report personally at the Graduate School office one month prior to the official enrolment period for the semester/term chosen, to enable proper verification of their academic documents, to process other admission requirements, and to enable the Graduate School to determine their English proficiency level.
5. Certification of employment and study permit, if working in government or private agency;
6. Medical certificate from the UE Ramon Magsaysay (UERM) Memorial Medical Center;
7. Passed the Graduate School Entrance Examination (GSEE);
8. Two character references, one from former professor;
9. Fully accomplished application for admission;
10. Interview by a member of the Graduate School Academic Committee;
11. Any other document/requirement that the University may prescribe.

Specific Requirements for Foreign Students
Foreign Resident Students:
In addition to the above cited requirements, the applicant is required to submit his/her Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) (Original and one (1) photocopy) or I-card (original and one (1) photocopy) issued by the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation (BID).
Non-Resident Foreign Students:
The applicants are required to submit the following prescribed requirements:
