Admission Requirements - Freshmen:
A. Baccalaureate Degree Programs
1. High School final grades of not less than 85% in mathematics, science and english or approval of the dean
2. Passing the entrance examination and interview conducted by the college
3. Medical Certificate from the university physician
4. Birth Certificate (original and photocopy)
5. Passport size picture with name tag
B. Diploma /Certificate /Associate Programs
1. GPA of at least 83% or approval of the Dean
2. Passing the entrance examination and interview
3. Medical Certificate from the university physician
4. Birth Certificate (original and photocopy)
5. Passport size picture with name tag
Admission Requirements - Transferees:
A. A transfer student may be admitted provided that:The admission of transfer students shall be on probation basis until such time when he/she shall have validated or repeated the required courses outside the university in accordance with the rules below, which are required for the course;
1. He/she must have obtained an average of 2.0, 86%, B, or better, in all the collegiate academic units he has earned outside; and
2. He/she will have to complete in this university no less than 50% of the units required for the course;
B. An admitted transfer student may not be allowed to enroll in the subject or subjects the prerequisite of which taken elsewhere have not been validated or repeated;
C. An admitted transfer student must validate all the subjects he/she is offering for advanced credits at the rate of at least 15 units a semester within a period not exceeding four semesters from the date of his/her admission. Failure to comply with this requirement shall be a sufficient ground for the cancellation of his/her registration privileges; and
D. Any of all of the above rules may be set aside in exceptional cases upon the recommendation of the Committee on Admission in units where admission of students is passed upon by this Committee or of the Dean concerned.
E. Transfer students must comply with the following requirements:
1. Copy of the Transcript of Records
2. Certificate of the Eligibility to Transfer
3. Certificate of Good Moral Character from the former school
4. Medical Certificate from the university physician
5. Passing the qualifying examination and interview
6. Birth Certificate (original and photocopy)
7. Passport size picture with name tag
Admission Requirements - Foreign Students:
1. Foreign students who want to enroll in the university must meet the academic standards for admission as those required of native students. They are also subject to evaluation of the Commission on Higher Education.
2. The substantial equivalent of courses completed with those prescribed by the University shall be considered, if courses were taken in an institution of recognized standing.
1. Honorable Dismissal or Transfer Credentials (Original Copy)
2. Two (2) copies of Transcript of Records (photocopy only)
3. Three (3) pcs. 2x2 recent colored ID picture
4. Two (2) pcs. 1x1 recent colored ID picture
5. Photocopy of Marriage of Contract (for married women)
6. Letter of request for change of Status (for married women)
7. Two (2) pcs. Long Brown Envelope
8. Recommendation Letters from:
A. The Professor, Dean or Administrative Head of the Institution previously attended
B. Head of Office or immediate supervisor you are currently connected or employed
C. If not employed, by any person holding a respectable position in business or a person prominent in any profession.
Note: The recommendation letters should be placed inside a sealed envelope addressed to the Dean of the college.
