Admission Requirements - Freshmen:
1. Only applicants who are currently enrolled in Grade 12 may apply.
2. The following applicants must secure clearance from the UST Office of the Registrar before paying the application fee:
2.1 Out-of-school youth passers of the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) and Alternative Learning System Accreditation and Equivalency (ALS A & E) – present the PEPT/ALS A&E certificate
2.2 Applicants who are graduates of previous school years – present original Form 138 (Report Card)
2.3 Applicants from foreign schools – present Form 137 (Transcript of Records)
2.4 Foreigners graduating from local schools – present passport and Alien Certificate of Registration
3. Applicants must apply online.
4. Click the Apply Now button below and once you are in the online application site, click Register and select the application for COLLEGE.
5. Fill out the Pre-registration form to get your reference number.
6. Log-in your reference number, upload your ID picture, and then click save.
7. Print the Senior High School Grades Form.
8. Request the Registrar’s Office of your school to accomplish the High School Grades Form. Make sure that the school principal or registrar signs the High School Grades Form.
Afterwards, encode your grades in your application portal.
9. Complete your online registration to print the Application Form and Payment Slip.
10. Proceed to any Metrobank or BPI branch to pay, over the counter, the non-refundable application fee indicated in the USTET Application payment slip. Fill out the Metrobank or BPI payment slip with the following information: (Present to Metrobank or BPI the USTET Application payment slip with reference number for verification purposes)
11. Keep a photocopy of all the documents before you proceed to step 12.
12. Submit the following documents to the OFAD through any LBC Express branch. All application documents will only be received through LBC. No personal submission of documents will be entertained by the Office for Admissions (OFAD).
12.1 Signed Application Form
12.2 Accomplished Grades Form
12.3 Clear photocopy of:
– PSA Birth certificate or passport
– BPI/Metrobank payment slip (do not send the original copy)
13. Keep track of your documents with LBC. Please visit your Activity Log to view the notification five (5) working days after we receive your documents.
14. Upon receiving the notification of OFAD, download and print the TEST PERMIT. Take note of your USTET schedule.
15. NO TEST PERMIT, NO USTET.
Admission Requirements - Transferees:
1. Transferee must submit the following to the Dean’s Office of the faculty/college/institute where the program of choice is offered:
1.1. A Letter of Intent addressed to the Dean of the faculty/college/institute where the program is offered;
1.2. Clear photocopy of duly certified transcript of records; and
1.3. Certificate of Good Moral Character coming from the Dean and the Head of the Office for Student Affairs of the school/college/university of origin.
2. The transferee applicant shall forward the Certificate of Good Moral Character to the University’s Office for Student Affairs for clearance.
3. After careful evaluation of the transferee’s credentials, the Dean shall endorse the transferee to the Office of the Secretary General for approval to take the Qualifying Examination.
4. If the transferee passes the Qualifying Examinations, he/she must accomplish the admission memo and submit it to the Office of the Registrar together with his/her Original copy of transfer credentials.
Admission Requirements - Foreign Students:
A foreign student who qualifies for admission must present/submit the following to the Office of the Registrar:
1. Student Visa secured from the Philippine Foreign Service Post in the country of origin or legal residence.
2. Five (5) copies of the Student’s Personal History Statement (PHS) duly signed by him/her, all in English, his/her personal seal, if any, and containing among others, his/her left and right thumb- prints and a 2”x2” photograph on plain white background taken not more than six months prior to submission.
3. Transcript of Records/Scholastic Records duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post located in the student applicant’s country of origin or legal residence.
4. A notarized Affidavit of Support including bank statements or notarized notice of grant for institutional scholars to cover expenses for the student’s accommodation and subsistence, as well as school dues and other incidental expenses.
5. Photocopy of data page of the student’s passport showing date and place of birth, and birth certificate or it's equivalent duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post.
Admission Requirements - Second Coursers:
1. Letter addressed to the Dean expressing the intention to apply for a second degree and indicating the program of interest;
2. Certified true copy of his/her transcript of records;
3. Two (2) recommendation letters coming from any of the following:
• Dean of the previous school
• Professor of the previous school
• Office of Student Affairs of the previous school
• Present employer as the case may be.
1. Submit to UST Graduate School the following documents:
• a photocopy (but duly certified true) of latest Transcript of Records.
• one (1) colored passport size, recent photo.
• (if any) document (s) attesting to passing a Bar/Board Exam, or being a scholar of any agency.
2. Secure upon submission of the aforementioned documents the following forms:
• Application Form
• Two (2) Referral Forms: One (1) for current (immediate) superior (or Dean, in the case of a school); and the other, for professor in one specialization (major) subject.
• Accomplish the Personal Data Sheet
3. Submit to the Graduate School Dean's Office the duly accomplished
• Application form
• Referral Forms (2 sets)
• Personal Data Sheet.
4. After a week, inquire about the decision of the Dean from the Graduate School Office of the Dean.
1. Submit to UST Graduate School the following documents:
