A one-year course open to all non-education college graduates. This is a modular approach designed to meet the needs of working students who want to earn units in Professional Education courses and Diploma in Special Education. The Proficiency in Professional Education (PPE) subjects (24 units) are already embedded in the first component followed by the Special Education subjects (36 units) for a total of sixty (60) units.

Course description:
Associate in Computer Technology.The student who chooses a Computer Technology major will be prepared for planning, design and development of computer systems and programs. Students are trained to write programs using a number of computer languages including C, C++ and java.

Specialized coursework involving computer systems and PC technology, discrete Structures, data structures and algorithm, software applications, and systems procedures will complement language instruction and better equip the student to cope with an entry level programming position. To further round out the students is educational experience, courseware in business processes, management and other general subjects will be required.
