CAFA Educational Loan Assistance Program
The College of Architecture & Fine Arts provides a scholarship grant in the form of an educational loan assistance to deserving CAFA students, who are financially needy. This is an independent program of the college to help CAFA students who are in dire need of financial assistance.
• Eligible Applicants
The program prioritizes CAFA students who are in the 3rd year to 5th year levels with good academic performance from the previous school years.
• Application/Selection Process:
1. Completion of an Application form (with a grade slip of the previous semester) Forms available at the CAFA Guidance Office.
2. Initial Interview (Program Committee Representative/CAFA Guidance Counselor)
3. Final Interview with the Dean
4. Parents Conference with the Dean or Program Committee Representative
5. Submission of Income Tax Return and Certification of Tax Exemption
6. Signing of the Contract (Contract form available at the CAFA Dean’s Office)
• Contract Obligations
All educational loan assistance recipients are required to sign a contract with the Program Committee agreeing to the terms and conditions upon which the assistance is granted. This contract establishes a maximum loan amount of P20, 000.00 per student per semester excluding other school fees. Payment for the borrowed amount will be based on the promised date stated in the contract. The program committee will have to rely on the word of honor of the recipient regarding the mode of payment.
• Contract Renewal
The contract term is renewable every semester. To maintain or continue for the coming semester, the recipient must have a grade point average of 2.5 per semester. Failure to maintain the required academic standing will be subject to dismissal from the program.
Tuition Fees:
P 35,000-40,000 per semester
