Civil Engineering courses offered at URS Morong
Admission Requirements - Freshmen:
Graduates of high schools may be admitted on the following basis:
1. Students desiring to enroll in the University should pass the University Admission Test
2. Holders of Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) certificates are eligible for admission to college provided that he/she should pass the University Admission Test and undergo Career Counseling
3. Evaluation of applicants shall be rated as follows:
• 70% - URSAT
• 30% - General Average
4. Certified True Copy of Form 137-A (General Average in the Third Year Level)for freshmen
5. Certificate of good moral character
6. Medical certificate
7. NSO birth certificate
8. 3 copies of “2x2” picture
Admission Requirements - Transferees:
A student from other colleges/universities wishing to transfer must satisfy University Rules on Transfer Student
1. The weighted average is not lower than 2.25 and above and without failure in any subject from the school last attended;
2. The quota set by the College concerned has not yet been filled up
3. Passed the qualifying test
4. Comply with the following requirements:
5. Certified true copy of scholastic records
6. Certification of good moral character from either the President, Dean or Registrar of the school last attended
7. Transfer credentials (honorable dismissal)
8. 3 copies 2”x2” recent photo
9. Medical Certificate
From a URS Campus, students may be admitted as transferees upon the recommendation of the Chancellor and/ or Registrar depending upon the availability of slots and application for Transfer should be filed two (2) weeks before enrolment.; and have complied with all other requirements for admission; such as transcript of Records/ Transfer Credentials, Certificate of Clearance and Good Moral Character.
Admission Requirements - Foreign Students:
Foreign students are those who are not Filipino citizens and who desire to enroll in College. Foreign student seeking admission shall comply with the following requirements:
1. Present a certified true copy of Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR). A study permit issued by the Commission on Higher Education and Student Visa by the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation
2. Result of Validating Examination administered for High School Students
3. Credentials such as Card or Transcript of Records
4. Those who come from non-English speaking countries are required to pass the English Proficiency Test to be given by the University
5. Pay the prescribed tuition fee for foreign students
This school is included under the "Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education" law that passed in 2017.
The law covers students enrolled in State and Local universities/colleges in Bachelors and Certificate programs.
Under the Law students in accredited State and Local universities/colleges will not pay any tuition fees or misc fee.
The Law covers only first time students (students who don't already have a college degree).
However, the full implementation of this law is not clear yet.
