About UAP:
UA&P is just a small school but it has the best-maintained facilities (it has elevators, air-conditioned rooms, and the cleanest washrooms). It has a good number of scholars, provincial and international students, which enable intercultural exchange. It also has various events and organizations that aim to discover and nurture the potential of students. Notable among these are theater/arts orgs and civic orgs. However, since the university is quite young (less than 50 years), it's professional orgs and varsities are yet to be well-recognized, although it is beginning to gain attention and acknowledgment in some inter-school competitions.
With it's rich foundation in the liberal arts and it's adherence to Christian principles and teachings, contemplation and dialogue is encouraged by professors. All students are also dealt with personally by mentors, to help them adjust to University life and improve academically and holistically.
In the School of Communication, specifically, emphasis is given to communication ethics and values, which the professors (well-known academics and industry practitioners) also embody and promote. Since most of the major requirements are in the form of pitches, it might tend to be competitive, but the professors still see to it that it's healthy competition.
