Needs to upgrade the system for enrollment. One of the things that I didn’t like about the facility. There is a need for system upgrade to make the enrollment transactions online.

Professors: 4.5/5
Both in the undergraduate and graduate level faculty are expert of their respective areas. Mostly, they are master’s/doctorate degree holder though some in the college level are still in progress in their master’s program but it doesn’t matter because they are all good (based on my experience). The remaining.5 pt/s is to improve student-faculty relationship through providing consultation hours.

The staff: 1/5
(especially the registrar’s office, the head is approachable but some or most of it's staff are ill mannered). The said department needs retooling in handling and accommodating the clients concerns. Needs to improve communication skills.

My current job: Now, I am a Senior High School Teacher.
I was an Assistant Professor in the previous university where I worked with. I also taught in the Junior High School.

How long did it take to find a job: A year after my college graduation.

About The National Teachers College: The school atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. From the gate, the school guards are very friendly. The non-teaching staffs are accommodating and always have smiles painted on their faces.
The principals/deans and teachers/professors are approachable and always willing to give a hand to those in need. They are inspiration to all the students who are dreaming to be a good teacher.
The facilities of the school are good. It is responsive to the changing educational programs of the Department of Education to cope up to the globalization. The school is well-ventilated, accessible, safe, secure, equipped with high technology.

How long did it take to find a job: Since, it is my second course (my first course is Bachelor of Science in Computer Science) it is easy for me to have a job. Although, I have two subjects left in college, I had the opportunity to teach as substitute teacher in Chinese school in Paco, Manila with the help of my critic teacher.

Why did I choose this school: I chose NTC because it is a college designed specifically for teachers to be. The subjects offered are appropriate, the professors are good at their craft, and it was among the only college around that trains soon-to-be-teachers very well by providing not just an off-campus practice teaching, but also an on-campus one.

About The National Teachers College: The National Teachers College has an okay ambiance. It is within the university belt and is accessible, has quite a number of restaurants all around, and the school building is kept and maintained well. Extension buildings have also been made to cope up with the school's growing needs.

The professors at NTC are well-known for expertise in their craft. There are some who may be dubbed terror teachers, of course every school has one. But I love the fact that these teachers are the ones who are able to tap a students' skill and knowledge very well. Teachers from NTC are also very passionate about their job.

My current job: Currently, I am a public school teacher. I handle intermediate classes and teach Journalism to both Grades V & VI pupils, as well as English and Filipino to other Grade V pupils.

How long did it take to find a job: I graduated October 17, 2009 and got hired at a company on October 23, 2009. The wait wasn't very long.

About The National Teachers College: The facilities are well-kept and maintained. Professors are competent and proficient. The university is conducive for learning. It is very appropriate place for learning.
