Why did I choose this school: I studied there because TIP have a excellence record of teaching, and also they can give you an opportunity to be a scholar/dean's lister like me because all freshmen who enrolled, they give a tuition fee discount or free tuition fee which depends on your grade and it's up to you if you can maintain your grade and you can avail it continuously until the time you are graduate.

About TIP Manila: All I can say, the ambiance was very nice. The environment and the campuses are very clean, many places there where you can study or you can stand by. These are the places: study area, a big area, full of tables and chairs. Congregating area, where you can socialize and sit to relax because it have many benches and that is also a place for school events and programs, mini park or garden, you can also relax there and make a selfie or groupie pictures. ;)

My professors in my course are very well teaching, many of them are board passers and some of there are strict and some are nice but all professors will give you inspirations, motivation in life and I assure that you will learn a lot of them.

The facilities:
Some rooms are air conditioned and most of the rooms are not.
Since it is a Technological school, that school had an advanced technology, many computers and equipment of school. There are also a room for free use of computer for searching, typing and etc. For doing projects, reports and assignments.
The library. There are two libraries there. One for engineering and computer courses and the other one is for any courses. All books that you are needed for your subjects are available. You can borrow a books. Their libraries are composed of two floors.

My current job: I am working now in BANCO DE ORO, UNIBANK. My position there is accounting assistant, where we are balancing the daily transactions of the bank branch such as the debit and credit of the bank, checks, and the client's transactions.

How long did it take to find a job: April 2013 when my graduation march then after one week I found a job in the internet then BDO was my first choice so I applied and thanks God I passed the exams and interview then June 3, 2013 date of hired and that was the starting of my work.
And now, I am working one year in my company and I'm so much happy because I'm near to my success.

Why did I choose this school: TIP specializes in the field of engineering.

About TIP Manila: Learning was easy in TIP. The environment was very conducive for learning. To add to that, there were lots of facilities that can support your learning endeavors. The classroom are well lit and well ventilated, complete with materials such as whiteboard, projectors and the like. There were audio visual rooms, chemical laboratories, computer rooms, chapel, court, library, etc.

The professors were good. They have mastery on their respective subjects and they can surely deliver good lectures.

My current job: I am a Quality Assurance technician.
I am in-charge of on process and finished products inspection. That is to ensure that our products meet the required specifications for different parameters in order to achieve customer satisfaction.

Why did I choose this school: It is the school where father took his college as a scholar. And because the Dean when he was still a student, Dean Quirino, was still there working, he enrolled me there.

About TIP Manila: It was homey way back then (1990). Clean, meaning no trashes everywhere.

My current job: Had several jobs since graduation. Finding a job was never difficult when I was younger. I was once a Sales Engineer but left because it had lots of pressure. Was also chemist in a petrochemical plant, a safety engineer, an environmental engineer in a semiconductor company, a safety consultant, an operations manager for logistics, an environmental consultant for flood control projects of the government.

I am not working now. I was constructively dismissed from work in 2004. I refused to bribe LLDA and my company put me on floating status. Replaced me while I was still going to work. So, I left without resignation.

About TIP Manila: I had the privilege to study in both the Quezon city and Manila Campus of the Technological Institute of the Philippines.
TIP - QC was relatively new when I started my first 3 years of Mechanical Engineering in 1998, the school has a good ambience and I remember it to be clean. There was some problem with fraternities during those times but TIP was able to improve the situation and I heard that it is heaps better now. TIP excelled now way better than Mapua and UE in terms of Engineering.
The teachers are professionals, they work on their respective field of expertise.

TIP- Manila where I studied my 4th and 5th year was excellent way back then (2001-2003). The teachers were a lot better than the QC Campus but for obvious reasons. Nowadays you will find excellent teachers on both campuses.

My current job: Technical Support Manager - I am now working in Melbourne Australia since migrating here 3 years back. I handle technical support engineer of steam traps and valves needed in Steam, Boilers and Manufacturing Plants in Victoria Australia.

About TIP Manila: They have competent professors for they are CPAs and had a masteral degree but I think TIP is more competent for Engineering courses than Commerce courses.
