Scholarship Grants for Education and Accountancy available only at TIP

Four (4) scholars in each of the following academic programs: Accountancy and Education (QC only)

Qualifications

The senior high school student must:

1. Preferably belong to the ABM, HUMSS and GAS strands (Academic Track) for those applying for the DTUQ Scholarship Grants;
2. Possess a General Average of at least 85% in Grade 12 (1st semester grades) with no grade in any subject below 83%;
3. Has not enrolled in any course in college prior to the examination.

Benefits & Allowances

The scholar shall be entitled to the following benefits and allowances:

1. No fees throughout the duration of the grantee's program of study•
2. Semestral stipend of P15,000.00 which can go up to as high as P25,000 for exceptional academic performance•

• Certification from the HS Principal attesting that the applicant belongs to the TOP 20 graduates of the batch
• 2 Copies of 2'x2' ID Picture

90% or above with no grade in any subject below 88% - Free tuition and basic miscellaneous fees for one (1) semester

At least 88% or above with no grade in any subject below 86% - Free tuition fee for one (1) semester

At least 85% with no grade in any subject below 84% - 75% Discount on Tuition Fee for one (1) semester

At least 83% with no grade in any subject below 82% - 50% Discount on Tuition Fee for one (1) semester

8. Grants for Students Assistants

A. Regular Students Assistants

• Free tuition and basic miscellaneous fees
• Hourly allowance
• The SA loses his privilege if he fails to maintain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.50 every semester or if he commits any infraction of the General Rules of Counduct and Discipline
• The SA should not be a recipient of any other scholarship or financial assistance from TIP

Requirement to Maintain the Scholarship Grants

In order for the scholar to continue to enjoy the benifits of the scholarship, he shall maintain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 1.75 with no grade in any subject below 2.25 every semester during the period of his scholarship. Further, he shall lose his scholarship if he commits any infraction of the General Rules of Conduct and Discipline.
