Why did I choose this school: I wanted to go to CMU (Central Mindanao University), but unfortunately I couldn't because I missed the entrance exam. I heard of STI is a great school for computer learning courses, one of their representative went to our school before graduation, he was telling us how productive and wonderful STI is, maybe I was mesmerize by their advertisements so I went to enroll.

About STI Cagayan de Oro: The staffs were nice and very accommodating, you can ask anything and they will answer you politely. Some students were asking none sense questions and still they get a very wonderful answer, I was listening, and I had told myself 'wow! What a patience he got!' maybe that's how they make the school's atmosphere warm and welcoming. But, speaking of atmosphere that's not my problem: At first, I'm not comfortable, of course, meeting new friends... Is simple, but when you say meeting 'rich and spoiled kids' is not that easy. I have experienced to be bullied all the time... Sure they're making the atmosphere hot and crazy! But then, as the years gone by, we all became friends, well, at least. Some students skip classes but not all the time specially when the professors are straight and strict.

Well, some professors were cool but some were really mean, if you can't meet the deadline on your project.. Your dead, if you miss an exam.. Prepare your eyes for a hundred liter of tears.. But some professors were very nice and understanding, once you had a great alibi then everything is solved.

My current job: I'm freelance programmer.
It is something like creating a small world using numbers and texts - we call it codes. I make some for them (employer/customer) and they paid me back.

How long did it take to find a job: The whole month of march. Its not that long but I really need an income. I have risk all efforts I could just to get a job.

Why did I choose this school: Because it's the only school offered to me by my scholarship, that had a bachelors degree in nursing.

About STI Cagayan de Oro: Instructors were quite good and they have imparted the necessary knowledge we needed. They taught us not only whats inside the four walls in our room but beyond. We have developed the kind of relationship instructors to students must have. We bonded and laugh together.

In terms of facilities, they have the necessary tools to aid our needs in learning, like computers, OHP projectors, laboratories and etc. A place to rest? Library is one on my list! Hehe.

My current job: I dont have a stable job yet.
I am currently affiliated and a volunteer in HELP rescue 411, a local rescue unit here in our city.

How long did it take to find a job: If being a volunteer is already a job, then I would say it took me 9 months after graduation. If i'll count from the day I passed the board exam I would say about only a month.
