Why did I choose this school: The school was an exclusive school for girls from elementary to college. My older sisters studied here ahead of me. They took business courses and I wanted to take the same because at least they can teach me of those subjects that I would be taking in the future. Our family rented an apartment a few blocks away from this school. Being an exclusive girl school I was fascinated with the camaraderie and bonding of the my sisters and their friends and classmates in this school which started in their high school years and continued in their college years.

About STC Cebu: Being an exclusive for girls, there was tight security in the entrance and exit of the campus. The elementary, high school, and college students were like a big family being supervised by the nuns who run the school. The decorum and proper behavior of students within the campus was strictly enforced. This school has been like a second home to me and my sisters. Everyday we love to see our classmates and friends. The campus had a chapel and the social hall where the chatting was done during recesses and lunchtime.


My current job: My current job is an Accountant in a big multinational company. The pay is much higher than the usual rate in the Filipino companies for the same job description or functions.

How long did it take to find a job: After graduating I was hired in a marketing company. It was my first job and I really felt good. Then I reviewed for the Board exam for Accountants. I passed it and became a CPA.

Why did I choose this school: Since my elder sister was already studying this course in this school it was only practical and convenient for me to study here also. Most of all, we were alumnae of it's high school. We are loyal to our alma mater.

About STC Cebu: This school is popularly known as one of the most exclusive girls’ educational institution in Cebu. The more affluent members of theises are well cleaned and secured. The facilities were always maintained well and in good order so that a student would feel being in a big house with everything looking nice and cool.

Our teachers were mostly ladies and some were nuns who had masteral and doctorate degrees in philosophy, business, or education. They were nice and courteous and pleasing. This was a good environment for easier and better learning.

My current job: I am now in the U.S.A. With my family. There, I do some buy and sell of goods while taking care of my family.

How long did it take to find a job: After graduation I went home to our parents house where I worked for the family business. It was typical of us children of businessmen to start working in own before going to other greener pastures.

Why did I choose this school: This has been the school of choice of my older sister and she told me about the ambience and camaraderie inside the campus. Being very young and wanting to be part of the “in” crowd I followed the advice of my older sister to study here.

About STC Cebu: This school is being run and managed by Catholic Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Concepcion of Mary. It was an exclusive for girls only school. The elementary, secondary, and college levels were all for girls only. That’s why this school was sometimes called the “school of sisters.” A student of this school would feel safe and secured inside the huge and spacious campus. The lobbies were the most popular areas for chatting and resting in-between and after classes.

The teachers were all experts in their own specialties or fields. They were real businessmen and academic professors with masteral degrees in Math, Economics, and Business Management. They taught the students well which was inspiring and a good encouragement for us to finish our course.

My current job: Our family has a retail business and a farm and I helped and assisted my mother in anyway I can. Sometimes we went to the farm during harvesting of rice and other crops.

How long did it take to find a job: After graduation, I assisted my mother in her store business. My job was to watch the store daily and act as cashier.
