Why did I choose this school: The vision and mission of the school suited my philosophy in life. And it’s one of the best schools for education in Manila. They also provide students with all the needed learning to be the best you can be.

About St. Scholastica's College: The atmosphere was very positive. Since it is known as an all-girl school it really empowers women like me. An exclusive school like this helps me to have more self confidence and boosts my self esteem too. The professors helped us a lot to be a good student and a good role model to everybody. And they are also very knowledgeable, outgoing and friendly. The facilities were great! Classrooms are conducive for learning. The campus foster learning and sense of security to all students.

My current job: I am a Private Homeschool teacher.
I teach children with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. And I believe that I am living my dream because this is what I really wanted from the first place =)

How long did it take to find a job: I graduated March 2010 and I was employed by May for a Preschool teaching job then I started working June of the same year.

Why did I choose this school: I wanted to study in a exclusive school to shape my personality, in a way only exclusive schools can do. Such as becoming proactive, vocal, analytic, etc.

About St. Scholastica's College: The atmosphere is actually different from my past co-ed school. Girls are mature and responsible so never did I have chance to try and the stupid things such as cutting class, vices etc.

The professors were great, all were masters in their fields. They were hands on. I never had a professor that was tardy.

Best facilities, especially our library. Our classrooms were well equipped.

My current job: Financial Analyst

How long did it take to find a job: I was already employed, a month before my graduation. My job was waiting for me.

Why did I choose this school: I believed in the competencies of the school, the value they inherit to each student and the school is well equip to mold every student to be an agent of change.

All professors are literate, considerate and master each course they teach.

The atmosphere- I came from an all girls school so I didn't experience culture shock. In addition, the environment is very friendly and I can feel the sense of safety in the campus

My current job: I am a teacher in one of the schools in BF Parañaque and I am planning to be a member of Advocata, an organization that advocates that students with special needs are functional to the society.

How long did it take to find a job: 2-3 weeks

About St. Scholastica's College: The College has a lot of history and the spirituality which I so admire. The presence of the Benedictine sisters help. Although I wish they were more present in College sector.

It always brings a smile to my face whenever I see adorable pre- and grade- school Scholasticans about campus - they look so free! The high school students on the other hand make my jaw drop because of their strong voice and sense of self.

I personally believe that exclusive schools help in building children up. I guess it's because without the distraction of the opposite gender, kids and faculty are able to focus their energies on more productive pursuits.

My current job: I serve as Administrative support to an executive in another tertiary institution.

How long did it take to find a job: Actually, I was already being asked to work even before I graduated, but I had requested that I be hired after graduation so that I could focus on my academic requirements.

Why did I choose this school: I have to admit, it's my parents' choice but I realized that they made the right choice for me because the annual interview we had with our guidance counselor had helped me understand myself and maximize my potential as a young adult.

About St. Scholastica's College: Majority of our professors are practitioners on their respective fields. They are experts and well-versed in imparting their knowledge on what really happens when we get into actual world of the fields we really want to engage in. Our social science professors (Prof. Charlie Azcuna, Prof. Danny Galang, etc.) have developed our social and political awareness as well as our critical thinking.
At times, I was so apprehensive attending classes under the tutelage of our strict & "terror" professors but I've just realized that these professors had helped me develop my personality and communication skills.
The ambiance inside the campus is safe, cool and conducive to learning. However, outside the campus is crowded because most of the cars are parked along the way. During rainy season, we had a hard time going home. Leon Guinto, Estrada & Singalong streets are flooded areas.

My current job: I teach foreign languages on a part time basis on some colleges. Since I have stayed in the south of Metro Manila, I also serve our brother school - San Beda College-Alabang. Apart from teaching, I also do translations and interpretations. Furthermore, I put up my own language tutorial center which is called MGGT Language Center and I use the job title Executive Director. My small tutorial center has been operating since 2017 and I have employed five on-call instructors.

How long did it take to find a job: Three months because I took up computer lessons

Why did I choose this school: My other friends who intended to take up nursing convinced me to study in this school. The first reason was that St. Scholastica College is a well-known school in Manila and the second reason was that it was affiliated with the DWU Hospital where the facilities were more modern than the others.

About St. Scholastica's College: This school had very good instructors; they were very generous in giving us so much inputs about their real life experiences as nurses. The school had a perfect passing rate for so many years. The fee was very reasonable compared to those in Cebu City or Manila. The buildings and rooms were clean.

My current job: I am now an instructor of Practical Nursing for the students of St. Scholastica’s College of Nursing, my alma mater. The description is to train the students all the nursing tasks in a hospital or a medical clinic and even outside of these areas for as long as there are needs for the nursing care and assistance.

How long did it take to find a job: I did not find a job for about a year after I passed the Board Exam.

Why did I choose this school: This is a very high standard school and my friends who took up this course invited me to study in this school.

About St. Scholastica's College: This school is connected to the DWU Hospital in Tacloban City for our practical. The school has the atmosphere of a convent because I always see the nuns who manage this school go around the campus. I feel at home with them. The sister of my mother is also a nun in Manila. The entire class greets me because I weighed 250 lbs., more or less. There is a chapel, canteen, laboratory for dissecting the specimen, and an auditorium. I like the canteen most. The teachers are very nice and entertaining. They always asked me what is my favorite food.

My current job: My job is a volunteer nurse in V. Luna Hospital, for the Philippine Army, in Metro Manila. I am assigned in any section where there is a need for additional nurse or when one wants to have a substitute.

How long did it take to find a job: I found a job only 2 years since I passed the Board Exam for Nursing

Why did I choose this school: Convenience. Very accessible and the tuition was not that expensive then.

As a operations management trainee I am trained in all the facets of the operations side of the said BPO company, while currently being groomed to assume higher roles in the said organization.
