Why did I choose this school: I have been a Paulinian since my secondary years and I just loved the environment and the people who are working in there.

About SPU Manila: My school has been very nice! They are great in molding us to be Christ-centered individuals. Staffs and teachers/professors are all friendly.

Professors knew what they are teaching. They made sure that their students are learning.

Facilities were great! Each room had a TV on where the teachers can present their powerpoint presentation about their subjects. It's a fun school!

My current job: I have been a Guidance Counselor before but right now, I am working for a start up company in San Francisco through odesk. I am a Booking Agent/Listing Creator. I book properties for guests and interact with them. Look out for their logical and emotional needs.

How long did it take to find a job: It took me 4 months to find a job after graduation. My first job was being an HR Assistant.

About SPU Manila: The environment was friendly only if you follow rules. At that time, the classrooms were already air-conditioned and all rooms already has cctv cameras. I just think that our school that time lacks lockers and should have newer computers for their students advanced learning in computer education. The library back then lacked resources, limited books and the references we needed while we were making our thesis lacked that is why we had to go to other schools and libraries to just get what we need. I liked the food from our school because they are all cooked by the nuns until just before I graduated, I almost ate a dead small cockroach in my baked macaroni. Since then, I never ate in the cafeteria again.

My current job: I am currently a full time mom and a part time online seller (importer of rare sweets around the world). I have been online selling ever since I was in first year college as a hobby, now I am selling for a living with a jobless husband and an eight month old baby boy.
I was fulfilled with my current job now because I am earning and at the same time I am earning from home. I get the chance to stay with my baby and breastfeed him for as long as I can.

How long did it take to find a job: 3 days before my graduation I was hired by Smart Communications as HR Training external assistant, but 2-3 months after I resigned because my position is just contractual and my salary was not good and there are no benefits at all, I go to office as early as 5:30am whenever there's training and arrives home by 12 or 1am.
I decided to go to law school but I got pregnant during my first year and I eventually stopped.

Why did I choose this school: I actually did not choose my own school. It was my Uncle who chose it for me, because he said Paulinians are disciplined and studying in a Catholic School is better. It also had an excellent passing rate in the Nurse Licensure Exam.

About SPU Manila: The campus is actually very impressive. Though the grounds are small, cleanliness is maintained in every single corner of the school.

The professors are well educated and are very professional inside the classroom and in our hospital duties. All classrooms are fully air-conditioned, the library is the best study place. There are many places to socialize, like the Fleur de liz auditorium where events are held.

My current job: I am currently jobless. I just took up my licensure exam last December and fortunately passed. I am still waiting for the certificates from Philippine Red Cross, then I will pass my applications in the hospitals where I hope I will be hired.

How long did it take to find a job: A month after graduation I applied in Convergys as a Customer Service Associate and got hired. I worked there for 1 year and 3 months.

Why did I choose this school: One if the best catholic schools and I am a paulinian ever since kinder.

About SPU Manila: The atmosphere was conducive to learning. Teachers were competent and conscientious on imparting their knowledge.

How long did it take to find a job: After a year, because I had to study another course right after my college graduation.
