About SMC Iligan City: My school, St. Michael’s College, is a good school for the young generation. A child who wants to be motivated and become the person who he/she wants to become someday should go to St. Michael’s College because the atmosphere is conducive to learning and facility is great which really aids students to their leaning. SMC has the most advanced library in all of the schools in Iligan City since it is using an automated system for tracking and accounting books at the library.

My current job: I’m currently working for the family-owned business since I stand as the general manager. I was juggling two roles before which are being a manager and at the same time a student. I am focusing on expanding our business further and making adjustments to the ever getting tighter market share competition here in the City of Iligan. Especially now that there is going to be a store opening soon that would operate 24 hours a day near to our 24hour store, which has operated for 15 years now.

How long did it take to find a job: It is not my priority to find a job aside from taking care of family-owned business. but if i were to find a job, it would have taken me a month or two to get a job since there are job openings already available that suit me after i graduated.

Why did I choose this school: It is the best private school here in Iligan City, with a good business curriculum.

About SMC Iligan City: The facilities were updated and well-kept. The library is air conditioned with a computer room and internet connection, a big and hi-tech auditorium and also air-conditioned classrooms (some, not all).

Our professors were often relaxed and friendly as most of them are young (within the late 30s bracket) but were very strict with grades and school requirements. Since it is a catholic school, We have a lot of church activities and are required to hear mass on Friday and Sunday.

My current job: Service Crew - I work in a fastfood chain.

How long did it take to find a job: Took me a year.

About SMC Iligan City: Our school is one of the best schools here in our city. The professors are very consistent in their teaching style and they have their own teaching strategies that students can easily understand. They're never late coming in to classrooms and are very approachable.

The atmosphere of this school is well maintained by the school-maintenance crew. And what I like most of our school is that it is located just in front of the church, so it's not hard for us to visit and attend the mass when we don't have classes.

One thing I can say that I am proud of our school is that among other schools here in our city, Our school is the only school that is offering high-tech facilities from the library down to the student lounge. It is Wi-fi ready in every corner, flat screen monitors, numerous amount of LCD projectors, air-conditioned offices, we also have a mini-hotel for the HRM students, spacious laboratory for the Nursing students, convenient space for the laboratory of the Criminology students, another laboratory for the IT students, speech lab, and the Go 100 shoppe for the business students like me who are taught and experienced the business world, and all of the laboratories has the new technologies.

My current job: As of now, I have no job. I did not apply job after graduation because I was planning to put-up small business.

Why did I choose this school: The nursing program in the state university here in Iligan had high requirements for admission. St.Michael's was the next best choice. It also has a higher passing percentage rate compared to other schools.

About SMC Iligan City: The professors were young and were not too rigid in lecture. The nursing curriculum back then when I enrolled was new, so there were a lot of changes as I advanced. The school had great facilities, several classrooms and laboratories were air-conditioned. The library was a big help as there were new nursing books as some of us can't afford the books.

My current job: I am unemployed as of the moment

How long did it take to find a job: It took me a year. I had to review and take the Licensure exam first.

About SMC Iligan City: my school was a friendly environment. all of my professor was my friend they so approachable and also intelligent with their corresponding field of teaching. I am grateful also that our school has giving the best facilities that the student need. we may not a university or what but the school really provide the best for the student. they really look for the best.

My current job: I am actually in the stage of applying in the department of education. after I graduated I didn't look for a job because I am focus with my review then when I pass the licensure examination then when I gather all the papers I eventually apply

About SMC Iligan City: Our school for me is not just a school, its my second home, they allow me to grow as a person, they taught a lot of things most specially in my field of study. all of our teachers are very approachable, they are my PARENTS in school.

our facilities is above average, even if our school located in the middle of the city but the faculty and the staff of the school provided us the most comfortable school in our area.

My current job: As of now I dont have job. I am enjoying my 1st year as a graduate
