Why did I choose this school: I chose to study in San Sebastian because they have one of the best programs in Psychology. In fact the program has passed Level 3 of the PAASCU Accreditation. Also, my father is an alumnus of the institution.

About SSC Recoletos: I would say that the ambiance was conducive for learning. There were enough libraries, laboratories, and classrooms for the students. We had highly qualified professors; in fact we had Doctors in Clinical Psychology, Doctors in Educational Psychology, and Masters in different fields of Psychology such as Guidance and Counseling, Social Psychology, and Industrial Psychology.

My current job: I am a basketball coach in the high school, college, and semi-pro level.


How long did it take to find a job: I had the job even before I have finished my studies. Its an opportunity that I am really thankful for.

Why did I choose this school: I've heard that the school is great and also my parents are both alumni in this university.

About SSC Recoletos: Some of the professors here are cool, they act as they are just your friends, you know that they know what they are teaching because some of them also have office jobs so they share what they experienced on the corporate world.

The university has excellent facilities, we have a lot of computers and large collection of books/e-books on the library. There are also air-conditioned rooms and non-aircon rooms. Just pray that your class will be on the air-conditioned room.
The ambiance is good. There are a lot of hangout places that is quiet and relaxing it feels very homie. The campus is also located on the U-belt area so there are a lot of establishment and hang out places outside.

My current job: I am an Account Manager for a company based on Makati.
My main job responsibility is to establish relationship to new and existing clients and to understand their requirements, be able to come up with a solution and make the sale.

How long did it take to find a job: 2 weeks. The company that I did my OJT absorbed me as one of their full time employee.

About SSC Recoletos: The atmosphere on Baste during our days (1998) was good, students are supportive to one another and we are always happy despite of whats happening whether is good or bad.

The professors during our time was okay. We learned the basics fundamentals of the subjects. Many of our Prof. Becomes our friend also and thats a good thing.

My current job: Now, I am residing in Milan, Italy. Of course, living and working Overseas is very different and hard. You have to do all the jobs, whether it's a blue or white collar job you will do that.

I can say that I am very fortunate on my job in the Philippines. Before I leave the country, I was a Manager for more than 9 years in Teriyaki Boy Restaurant.

Why did I choose this school: It's the prestige. And funny how I connected their being famous in "Law" to other courses like Mass Communication. Mass Communication in Baste was exemplary. I learned the basics of theatre. I thought Baste was the right school for me.

About SSC Recoletos: Atmosphere - I was generally with friends of I should say "the same feather". I always felt that the school was conducive for learning and students were friendly. But there are times when they can become nasty or feeling above all. I thought it was a life that was normal and every college should go through or at least know of.

Professors - They were strict and yet friendly. They were totally different 'person' outside the classroom. In the classroom, they were 'The' Professors, but outside can be friends.

My current job: I am a managing editor of a US-based Magazine. I manage the whole magazine; articles, writers and advertisements

How long did it take to find a job: I was already acting on stage along side my studies. But after graduation, I decided to stay on vacation for awhile. Technically, it will not fall under the category of finding a job. But I remember, even while on vacation, I was writing for several magazine already.

Why did I choose this school: It was recommended by my Tita (Aunt). She's working there. And I know that this is a high-standard school that's why I choose it.

About SSC Recoletos: It gave me a high-school vibe atmosphere, what I mean to say is, it's friendly and fun. The professors were top-notch but have a good rapport to students like us. They always give us advises. The facilities were advanced and very convenient to both the students and professors. I must say that their facilities are one of the best.

My current job: As of now, I am a Promo Producer in a Rental Company/ Production House/ Post-prod House in San Juan. I do the campaigns released by the company online.

How long did it take to find a job: I got it right away after graduation. I started applying before the graduation. Then after graduation it took 3 days of waiting before I finally got this job.

Why did I choose this school: One of the best schools in Ubelt. Actually it is on the top 30, 1 to 29 schools are the State Universities and high-end schools.

About SSC Recoletos: Ambiance is great because it is a private and managed by priests, which would make the schools policies and ruleas "strict and in order". Instructors hold the virtues of the school which are Charity and Love.

My current job: Shift Supervisor on Starbucks.


How long did it take to find a job: It took me 6 months.

About SSC Recoletos: I must say that my school is a great stepping stone for me to have a better career for my future. They helped me plan and achieve my goals. The professors are really a big help for us to set our mind and for us to have a good path for the future. The people in the school are sociable, and you can see all walks of life from the riches and poor.

How long did it take to find a job: I already took a job before graduations since the hotel absorbed me when I'm still having my On The Job Training.

Why did I choose this school: Due to financial constraints I forego my first choice and settle for second best, but I don't have any regrets.

About SSC Recoletos: The atmosphere: Although it is situated in the downtown area, the building/campus was structured in such a way that the noise outside will not distract the on going classes. The administration, faculty and staff coexisted peacefully and harmoniously.

The professors: It's not uncommon that there are professors who are not really well versed with the subject matter most especially if they are new in the teaching profession but I don't mean that all new professors are not that good. But majority of my professors really deserved a round of applause for a job well done.


My current job: I'm a full time housewife and that's by choice.

Why did I choose this school: Because I liked the uniform and it's a catholic school.

About SSC Recoletos: I came from a catholic school elementary and HS so it felt like nothing changed it's just the curriculum that changed. And of course since we are now college students the responsibilities of enrolling yourself and going home by yourself is yours.

My current job: I work in a publishing company as a directory services.

I worked in a travel agency for almost a year but was not really successful in that field and I think pay is not that good. Also I tried applying as a ground steward but the offer was too low. So I ventured on a different field and it's much better that the BS tourism based job.

How long did it take to find a job: I was working even before I graduated. I know someone who runs a hotel in intramuros and I spent my extra time there working while I was waiting for graduation.

Why did I choose this school: Its a good school for commerce.

About SSC Recoletos: Good ambiance. The professors were in doctorate degree.

How long did it take to find a job: Actually I proceeded to law school after my BS course, but then I stopped and got work.
