About San Pedro College: Some of the Professors in the department are really inspiring, they are, as for me, one of the best in the field. Some are unfair, inconsiderate, unjust and lack of full knowledge but they are just a few, let's say just three out of ten professors.

The school has a good learning environment; classrooms are fully air-conditioned and well maintained, facilities are modern and updated. The course outline fits and prepares you to pass the board examination.

How long did it take to find a job: Right after I took the oath of professionals, a letter came in saying "You are hired"

Why did I choose this school: I chose SPC because it is a University, not every student gets the privilege to study at a private university. SPC was also the most trusted and popular school in terms of medical courses here in Davao City. Yes, it is somewhat expensive but the quality of learning makes it worthy.

About San Pedro College: San Pedro college is dynamical. There was always something new before the semester begins. They keep on renovating and improving the facilities also adding more equipment and tools for the laboratories, giving the students the great satisfactory to study at SPC.

About the professors they were good and smart at their respective subjects, they were also great in explaining things. What makes SPC unique was the security of the place, There were like 3-4 bodyguards roaming the building every hour each floor.

My current job: I am a staff nurse at Davao Doctor’s Hospital, as a nurse I Asses patient health problems and needs, I implement quality nursing care, and maintain medical records. We nurses take care of ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.

How long did it take to find a job: After passing the Nursing Licensure Exam last 2012 I tried applying at Brokenshire hospital and Southern Philippines Medical Center, but there were no vacancies. Then I tried to apply at Davao doctor’s Hospital and luckily they hired me a month after submitting my bio-data.

Why did I choose this school: This is the best school of Nursing in Davao City as I've heard from the opinion of others.

About San Pedro College: The school's atmosphere and facilities are just fair. I could not say that it has the highest level of technology available out there but it was comfortable and caters the needs of the students. Aside form that, the physical set up is not the most important thing that one should consider but how the school would mold you through the knowledge, skills and attitude that would make them better if not the best in their chosen profession. I would like to commend our professors as well as the curriculum of the school itself because they/it really provides the necessary learning that one should get from their college years that would make them ready for the real world outside the 4 corners of their classroom or the supervision of their instructors.

How long did it take to find a job: It took me several months since I still took my board exam and a lot of trainings followed to improve and update my skills.

Why did I choose this school: San Pedro has high standards when it comes to education. The school is known for having strict environment, and professional instructors. Other than San Pedro College is one of the trusted and best school in Davao, the tuition fee wasn’t that expensive comparing to Ateneo.

About San Pedro College: Ever since San Pedro started they very were strict at security, and education. Before we had 2 security guards roaming every hour on each floor, as I have heard currently they made it 3 guards per floor.

My current job: I am a freelancer and I help manage our family business. I didn’t have the chance to work as what I have dreamt of but I still apply all the knowledge that I’ve harnessed at our business.

How long did it take to find a job: I worked as a computer technician after graduating. 2 months after my graduation I was offered a job by a family friend, they needed someone that have a vast knowledge of computers to assist them with their upcoming computer servicing business.

About San Pedro College: Our professors magagaling sila, pag sa loob ng room strict sila pero pag nasa labas na ang babati nila para na namin silang mga pamilya, pwde mo silang labasan ng mga hinanakit At Hindi lang sila Guro para sa amin, para na namin silang 2ndfamily. Hindi Gaya ng ibang guro na strict sa labas at sa loob.

Atmosphere and facilities: excellent masasabi kong excellent kc super Linis even sa CR super Linis. Minsan nga sa cr na kami tumatambay.

My current job: Still studying - Medicine student 2nd year

Why did I choose this school: This college of nursing is the most prestigious and is well-known in Davao City as having produced not only Board passers but also topnotchers. It has it's own hospital which is considered one of the best in the city.

About San Pedro College: The teachers were very good in terms of educating the students the most efficient way as they are highly trained and equipped with reliable experience and qualifications.

The campus location is very convenient for students since it stands just beside gaisano mall where students can easily buy school supplies and some medical stuff for their school requirements.

Most of the facilities and rooms were air-conditioned. The school buildings were also strongly built and are well-maintained by occasional repainting and school building beautification. There were other activities than pure academics such as sports, social interaction with communities and awareness program for environment, home care, and nutrition.

My current job: I am now a caregiver in Norway, since I got married to my husband who is a Norwegian but half pinoy. I attend to old and sick patients as a private caregiver. My salary per month is more than $2,000. In Philippine peso, it amounts to more than 90,000 pesos monthly.

How long did it take to find a job: After I passed the board exams in 2005 I worked in a hospital in Davao City.

About San Pedro College: This school is indeed one of the best Nursing school in the country, base on my experience and the actual rating itself. The professors were all good in teaching and you will surely be learning not just a lot, but everything that you need in this course.

How long did it take to find a job: I didn't actually search for a job after I graduated, I took the board exam first and when I passed, I decided not to work on as a nurse, but just incorporate what I have learned from my college years into oDesk.com today.

Why did I choose this school: The school was very popular for students who wanted to finish any medical degree. SPC also has their own hospital, which makes it more practical for students to study at this school.

About San Pedro College: That time it was kind of old. We only use Whiteboards and Manila Papers for Visuals. Our Audio Visual Room uses the same projector as the years have passed. About the professors they were approachable, competent and would really advise us on what to study.

My current job: Thanks to my dad, he knows some people at our local government, I was recommended to work at The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation. I currently work there as a Data encoder.

How long did it take to find a job: It took me a year to land a job as a nurse. It was hard for nursing graduates that time and there were also employment issues abroad. My first work was as a nurse at a Mental Hospital here in Davao.

Why did I choose this school: San Pedro College is an institution that has Nursing as it's forte. The school was very popular for students who wanted to finish any medical degree. Most nurses and therapists I knew here in Davao graduated at San Pedro College.

About San Pedro College: In terms of facilities at my time it was not modern. It was old school. We only had Blackboards and Manila Papers for Visuals. Our AVR uses the same projector stereo but what really was great about the School was the program and the professors. They were competent and would really advise a hands-on education, practicality and critical thinking. Nursing was more in decision making on an actual set-up, combining theory and skill.

My current job: For now I am non-working but I am currently applying for jobs at hospitals and clinics here in Dumaguete.
I wanted to purse my dream job as a Nurse that is why I resign at my past work as a Operations manager in Convergys.

How long did it take to find a job: My first job was a Bar manager. 2 months after graduating I was offered a job by a family friend. I declined since I don’t have the skills for management, “I am a Nursing graduate not business management”, I said. But He insisted and said that He can teach me how to be one. He said that he needs my assistant for their current bar manager was about to resign.

Why did I choose this school: I chose this school because of it's academic achievement and because how it shares the academic theological education with the practical world. There's an emphasis on experimental education and service learning.

About San Pedro College: The ambiance was pretty good and quiet, with very fresh air in the nature and branches.

The teachers were the best and brightest professors, assistant professors, and instructors.

My current job: I am a registered nurse employed in a health care facility to work as a “floor nurse” providing direct care to the patients.

About San Pedro College: The professors were great, although most of them relied on the old method of teaching. All classrooms were air-conditioned but the school itself was a little bit small. The facilities, on the other hand, were state-of-the-art.
