Course description:
The Bachelor of Science in Accountancy program provides adequate training to pursue a professional career in Accountancy, in general and in Public Accounting. The course program concentrates on the study of basic and advanced accounting for various organizations: profit or non-profit, sole proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations, taxation, and business law. Practical financial management and cost accounting for service, merchandising, and manufacturing business are also taken up in the later years of study. Latest technology in business applications is integrated in core accounting and elective subjects. The Bedan accountant will be exposed to a semester’s internship in a corporate and a not for profit organization and shall be required to produce an accounting research to complete the course. With the completion of the 4-yr program, the graduate will have the proficiency needed to take the assessments leading to certifications in Accountancy given by the Professional Regulatory Commission-Board of Accountancy (PRC-BOA) and other global professional Accountancy organizations.

Admission Requirements - Freshmen:
1. Two (2) photocopies of the Report Card
For graduating students: Submit the latest 4th year grading period (if not yet available, present the 3rd year high school report card & a certification that you are an incumbent 4th year student).
For high school graduates: Submit 4th year high school report card with complete grades.

A. MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The following requirements have to be completed and submitted to the Graduate School of Business Office prior to taking the Entrance Exam and Interview:
1. A Bachelor’s Degree with 85% or B or 2.00 average in the entire course
2. Accomplished Application Form
3. Two (2) accomplished Recommendation Forms from any of the following: The Dean/Chair/Guidance Counselor/Faculty Member of the School last attended/or Supervisor of Present Employment
4. Special Order (S.O.) or Certification of Graduation from the Registrar of School last attended
5. Certified True Copy of Transcript of Records (with Remarks: for San Beda College or for further studies)
6. Honorable Dismissal from school last attended
7. Photocopies of Birth and Baptismal Certificates (except for SBC graduates)
8. Five (5) colored ID pictures sized (2x2), and
9. Certificate of Employment from Employer
For Transferees
1. Summary of Credits (for evaluation)
2. Honorable Dismissal (after evaluation of Summary of Credits)
B. DOCTOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The following requirements have to be completed and submitted to the Graduate School of Business Office during enrollment in the Doctor of Business Administration Program for Foreign Students:
1. Five Copies of the Student’s Personal History Statement (PHS)
2. Transcript of Records/Scholastic Records duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post
3. A notarized affidavit of support including bank statements or notarized notice of grant for institutional scholars
4. A photocopy of data page of the student’s passport showing date and place of birth, and birth certificate duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post
5. Police clearance issued by the national police authorities in the student’s country of origin
6. Medical health certificate issued by an authorized physician including but not limited to a standard size chest x-ray, HIV, and Hepatitis B clearance
7. A Master’s Degree with thesis
8. Accomplished Application Form
9. Two (2) accomplished Recommendation Forms from any of the following: the Dean/Chair/Guidance Counselor/Faculty Member of the School last attended/or Supervisor of Present Employment
