Course description:
The Transcultural Health Care Management Certificate Program (THCMCP)/ Master of Arts in Nursing (MAN) program endeavors to educate nurses who are bearers of the core values of the school which are service to others (SERVITUM), zeal for leadership (DUCTUS), and love for humanity (CARITAS). It is designed to produce graduates who possess exemplary knowledge and skills on health care, management and leadership to become competent and world class nurses.
Our program emphasizes on quality and holistic education for current and potential leaders and managers in the health care and academic sectors of the global community. Our program prides itself with a training that is framed within transcultural nursing practice across diverse care settings with emphasis on health care of the emerging multicultural community.
Hence, the SDSC GSIPD THCM/MAN enables the student to:
1. Have the spirit of service, dedication and devotion to health care in local and global environment.
2. Have good human relations, communication skills; demonstrates critical thinking, management and leadership qualities multicultural setting.
3. Practice SKA’s for the promotion of health, prevention of illness, restoration of health, alleviation of suffering, assisting clients to face death with dignity in peace.
4. Be leaders and mangers of the health care industry.
