Course description:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a four-year course that deals with the autonomous and collaborative care of people of all ages, families, groups and communities. Nursing includes promoting health, preventing illness and caring for disabled and dying people. Specifically, after finishing this course, you will be able to skillfully perform basic and advanced nursing procedures independently, understand the etiology, causes, pathophysiology, nursing and medical regimens of various diseases to anticipate the needs of the clients, etc. Nurses also care about advocacy, promotion of a safe environment, shaping health policy, research, and education, as well as patient and health systems management. The modern nurse is not just the physician’s assistant, but can also function independently in a wide range of caring activities.
Future in Nursing
Aside from a number of career opportunities waiting for the graduates of Bachelor of Science in Nursing inside the hospital, there are also a lot of jobs that are more rewarding outside the standard hospital system. Some of the most in-demand career opportunities nowadays include travel nursing, military nursing, forensic nursing and legal consultation nursing.
