About PUP Quezon City: We a nature friendly ambiance which will fit when we want to relax our mind after doing a difficult task.

Well when it comes to professors we have different types there are some who is really lazy and just and have their job taken for granted and waiting for salary but there is really a lot of good educators as well professors who go beyond what is being ask for them to teach who will really gives you a motivation to strive harder each day.

However, when we talk about the facilities we have lots of empty spaces which could have been buildings to accommodate more students and we are not blessed in having quality computers but good thing is that somehow we manage to cover up those flaws because our professors are really doing their best to provide a learning with their un expectable teaching strategies sometimes we tend to discuss in a rented computer shop near our campus and it is really fun

My current job: I'm a customer service representative as of the moment, but I really do like to be a teacher, just waiting for the result of my licensure this year.
Being a representative you really need to bear the shortcomings of the company and provide your best resolving the problem of your customer not to mentioned that some of us are require to go beyond that and we are ask to be friendly in spite of some of the clients are really irate and racist but I was able to manage the stress because it is nothing compared with what we've done so far in the school where I came from

How long did it take to find a job: 2 days right after graduation

Why did I choose this school: I selected this school because of it's lower tuition fee, but nevertheless quality is not compromised. It is also one of the best universities in the Philippines.

About PUP Quezon City: When I first stepped into PUP Quezon City campus, it has only 2 buildings, a canteen, basketball court, small stage and several benches. It has green surroundings and many trees. That is why we call it the Ranch. The school also has small number of students from 5 courses.I personally liked that kind of atmosphere. It is not overpopulated, and amidst the city, you will feel like you were on a ranch - peaceful and not toxic for a college student with many projects and due dates.

The professors are very passionate in teaching us and I am very much thankful for them. They are professors inside that four-cornered room but they can be your friend outside.

Facilities may not be as good or better than others, we may have this little instruments and small venue of learning, but despite the school lacks in equipment, our professors are still eager to share their knowledge, not only to become competitive person but also with character, to prepare us for the corporate world. They instill in us that every one can be great and make goals come true with right attitude and making the most of what we have.

My current job: Currently I'm an Infrastructure Specialist. We are responsible basically for the server management and maintenance and some Middleware support.

How long did it take to find a job: I supposedly finish the course by 2010 but I have left one subject and it had me to extend for another sem. The graduation followed the next sem after that. After completing all my units, I have landed my first job after 4 months even before I actually graduated.

Why did I choose this school: Due to lack of financial capacity of my family to send me to college, My family and I decided to choose PUP and here are the factors I also consider why I choose the School

About PUP Quezon City: For the ambiance specifically to my Campus at Quezon City, It is Eco-friendly and it has a lot of trees. Far from the major highway like commonwealth, quiet (a great place to study).

For the professors and instructors, Good Points: Some of Professors are also teaching at the main campus, most of them finished Ph. D, some are light and fun in class, some are hard but I guarantee you will remember the lessons he/she teaches and all of the professors are friendly outside the classroom.
Areas of Improvement: Some of the professors are not around and you will see them on the first day and at the last day of the semester. But not all of them are that.

For the Facilities: Yes PUP is a state university, but I never expect that they will have high-end facilities that can be seen on some of the prestige universities here in the Philippines and even though the school was subsidized by the Government, some of the facilities are old but I think sufficient enough for the students to study.
But here are the guarantees:
Not all of the rooms are Air-conditioned but students from PUP is not after the aircon but for the knowledge. It doesn't matter if the room is old or new as long it can be use to be a training ground for the future, everyone even the professors are IN.

Yes PUP-QC have a library, A sanctuary of the students who are in need of books to study. It is small though but, I think all the relevant books that a student needs are there.

PUP-QC is a friendly community to all of the students, they respect one another, even the senior students call the lower years "Kuya or Ate". A great place to socialize, to study, to experiment and discover and establish your personality.

PUP-QC also provides places for the students to hang-out while waiting for the next subject, to study and even to rest and have a power nap before a three hours study war.

Conclusion: PUP-QC is small but I guarantee that the ambiance, faculty and the facilities of the university will help the students a lot to fully equipped them on their journey to the real world of adulthood.

My current job: Retail Training Associate is responsible for:
Create training modules aligned with the current process and operations furnished by Merchandising operations Department and training needs.
Conduct training to new hired merchandisers in preparation to their operational needs
Conduct up-skills training (product, sales training) to the merchandisers for performance and sales improvement
Monitor real time performance monitoring for coaching and evaluation
Create training and evaluation reports of the merchandisers

How long did it take to find a job: I never had a hard time to land a job after graduation since I follow the advice of one of my professors that on our Final On the job Training, it must our prospected company. After Graduation, that was May of 2013, I continue my internship. After a month, my HR Manager told me to process my requirements and gave me the JO.

Why did I choose this school: Low tuition and accessibility to my home, despite being a state university the quality of education is not sacrificed; it can even match other private universities when it comes to student competitiveness.

About PUP Quezon City: Professors are very dedicated to teaching, them being a state university professor; they don't want to sacrifice the amount of knowledge and information they needed to impart to their students. They are approachable and has sense of equity across everyone.

The facilities in the university are scarce, we have limited number of computers to practice with when studying programming. Using only pen and papers we try to make the most out of it tracing and formulating our algorithms before using the computers, this way we save time and make everyone able to code their programs.

My current job: Software Engineer/ (UI/UX Developer).

I create programs, dll's and user interfaces for softwares.

How long did it take to find a job: 1 month after graduation

Why did I choose this school: Quality Education and of course the tuition fee. 12php per unit, I mean come on it's the same price as Piatos or Coke Mismo!

About PUP Quezon City: When I first saw the school, well it wasn't what I've expected. We only have a couple of rooms in 3 buildings. Our court wast covered. But because of the generosity of City Councilors and the willingness of our Professors and school director to push more facilities we were granted with additional rooms, integrated chapel (thats what we call it) and our court became covered.

With the professors, they are truly good. Some are even scary that hearing their footsteps makes you want to go home!

There are a lot of trees in PUP it is even grassy. It is refreshing to stay for a while unlike other universities where all you see are buildings PUPQC is more of a nature friendly school.

My current job: I am a strict friendly lovable elementary teacher. I teach computer in the best way elementary students can understand what is protocol http router hub or switch. Which I myself never encounter when I was in elementary. Haha. But it fun and pain in the ass well.

How long did it take to find a job: After graduation in 3 months I landed a job, but I did not like it, so I resigned then I took a review lesson for my licensure examination, then I passed just this January 2014 and on April 2014 I signed a contract in a school.

Why did I choose this school: I chose this school for three reasons:

First, the image of the University itself. State universities are well known of their relatively distinct and quality approach in methodological learning process. And I felt it during my stay at PUP QC.

Second, geographical location. The campus was near to our place. I didn't need a large amount of money for transportation allowance which brought convenience to my parents. I was not that tired in traveling every class due to the distance from my house. At the same time, it was near to the market, church, malls, and other establishments. Everything that I need for school activities were very much accessible for us.

Third, economic reasons. PUP has the branding of lowest tuition fee among universities. This helped me to achieve my dream of graduating from a tertiary level of education, thus, my ticket for landing a good job.

About PUP Quezon City: The ambiance was very much suited to my learning process. Compared to other schools, the campus was blessed with the gift of nature. Trees were all around, which brought us fresh air, both in the class room and in the field. These were significant in my study time and brought good grades in my class cards.

The students and administrative officers were good enough in making the people felt at home. School and home were combined, creating a harmonious relationship with each one.

The professors and instructors were competent enough with the subjects that they were facilitating. Many of them had doctoral degrees which was helpful in coming up different perspectives and possibilities in the subject. Of course, these were part of the learning strategy. More than the educational attainments, they also had a big and good heart toward their students, which made the learning easy to deal with.

My current job: As of the moment, I am pursuing priesthood under the Roman Catholic Church. My course is significant because I will be dealing with people in the ministry, proclaiming and living out the gospel that we preach. But before entering the seminary, I worked at Banco de Oro Unibank (BDO) Main Branch as a general clerk. The nature of the job was clerical works and other things that were requested by my superiors.

How long did it take to find a job: It took me only a month before I had my job.

Why did I choose this school: It is not too far from home and it offers quality education which is more than 12 pesos per unit's worth.

About PUP Quezon City: The professors are very knowledgeable and approachable. In our university, you cannot teach without a master's degree. The facilities are neither new nor old. But it's not the facilities that matter. What matters most is the one who studies in the university.

My current job: I'm currently unemployed. I resigned after my first year in teaching because of my dad's condition.

How long did it take to find a job: It took me two weeks to get a job. I started job hunting before graduation. A week after I graduated, I have my demonstration and final interview... Then I got hired! :D

Why did I choose this school: I chose PUP because we are stereotyped as 'Pamantasang Utak ang Puhunan' which means we are not into tuition/money but to feed the mind of the students who enrolls in the campus.

About PUP Quezon City: PUP ambiance is relaxing, environmental friendly cause it looks like a mini forest in the city.

PUP professors are great. They will teach you what the 'outside world' is. It is scary at the same time exciting and the only person who can help you is you.

About the facilities, it doesn't really have great equipment but as PUP students, we can learn through being resourceful and hard work.

My current job: I work as a Business Process Associate inside a particular Insurance Company. I encode data of clients and record details about different transactions which was done in a certain country.

How long did it take to find a job: 1 month after graduation.

Why did I choose this school: Quality education at it's finest

About PUP Quezon City: The University provided us "self-study" method, wherein we are asked to comply with our requirements with minimal supervision from our professors. It helped us to rely on ourselves, sought advice from professionals and as well as interact with ordinary people.

We are able to become creative and modify something out of nothing in spite of lacking facilities.

My current job: I resigned as Secretary in a private institution. As of now, I am planning to take vocational courses in TESDA Quezon City

How long did it take to find a job: Two months
