Admission Requirements - Freshmen:
A. For Graduating High School Student
1. High School Card/Form 138
2. Certified true copy of Birth Certificate duly authenticated by the National Statistics Office (NSO)
3. Certification of Good Moral Character issued by the High School Principal/or Guidance Counselor.
4. Chest X-Ray result with Film.
5. Medical Clearance issued by the PUP Medical Clinic.
6. 2 in. X 2 in. Picture with white background with applicant's name on the photo.
B. For High School Graduates of past school years
In addition to the above admission requirements:
1. Certification from high school registrar with school dry seal and noted by the Principal that no copy of F137A has been sent to other college or university.
2. Notarized affidavit that applicant did not enroll in any school/college/university within and outside the country with "waiver" that if there is concealment of previous enrolment, PUP enrolment becomes null and void.
Admission Requirements - Transferees:
A. Transferring within the PUP System
A student seeking transfer from a PUP branch/campus to another branch/campus within the PUP System may be admitted depending on the availability of slots. Also, the student must:
• have a recommendation from the Director of the branch where he/she came from;
• have completed at least two (2) semesters;
• have no failing grade, dropped and withdrawn mark in any academic subject;
• have met the college academic course/program requirements; and
• have submitted the following requirement to the Admission Services:
1. Transfer Credential/Honorable Dismissal
2. Certification of Grades/Transcript of Records for evaluation purposes
3. Receipt of Admission Fee payment
4. NSO Copy of Birth Certificate
5. Receipt of Admission fee payment, and
6. Curriculum sheet
B. Transferring from another School
A student seeking transfer from another school or university to PUP may be admitted, subject to the availability of slots and upon approval of the University President or his duly authorized representative, Also, the student must:
• have passed the psychological test;
• have completed two (2) semesters or one (1) year (equivalent to 36 units only) for the last two (2) years in any four or five year program/degree/course in the school/university where he/she came from;
• have a weighted average of 2.0 or better with no failed, dropped or withdrawn subjects
• have met the college academic program/course requirements;
• have submitted the following requirements:
1. Honorable Dismissal/Transfer Credentials
2. Transcript of Records
3. Certification of good moral character with school/university dry seal
4. Course/Subject Description taken from other school/university
5. NSO Copy of Birth Certificate
6. Medical Clearance from the University Clinic
7. Two (2) pcs. 2x2 picture with name tag
8. Receipt of Admission fee payment, and
9. Curriculum sheet
1. Have obtained an average of at least 2.0 or it's equivalent with no failing grade in any subject.
2. Accordingly have their academic grades evaluated by the Dean or ARO
3. Submit the following original and photocopied documents to the ARO
• Letter of application
• Medical clearance from the University Clinic, and
• Transcript of Records with remarks as Graduated
4. Pay the Admission Fee, and
5. Meet all other requirements for admission into the University.
1. Have obtained an average of at least 2.0 or it's equivalent with no failing grade in any subject.
2. Accordingly have their academic grades evaluated by the Dean or ARO
3. Submit the following original and photocopied documents to the ARO
• Letter of application
• Medical clearance from the University Clinic, and
• Transcript of Records with remarks as Graduated
4. Pay the Admission Fee, and
5. Meet all other requirements for admission into the University.
This school is included under the "Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education" law that passed in 2017.
The law covers students enrolled in State and Local universities/colleges in Bachelors and Certificate programs.
Under the Law students in accredited State and Local universities/colleges will not pay any tuition fees or misc fee.
The Law covers only first time students (students who don't already have a college degree).
However, the full implementation of this law is not clear yet.
