Why did I choose this school: Mainly because I'm from the province and my relatives live near Valenzuela which was kind of convenient for me.

About OLFU-VALENZUELA: The atmosphere is okay I guess. It's not like other campuses that have a spacious area. Our campus have scattered buildings all over the vicinity. It is easy to get from one building to another though. But it would be nice if they had compiled all the building into one place only.

The professors are good. Like all other professors in other universities. There are good ones and not so effective ones. But most of the professors that taught me were really good and helpful.

With regards to facilities. The laboratories are now more improved than before. It is now air conditioned and has been better. Although they don't have complete tools but the basics are there.

My current job: As of now, I am a medical student.

How long did it take to find a job: Since I am still studying I am not employed. But all my friends and classmates who applied for work as Medical Technologists were all accepted immediately. Since a lot of places have scarcity when it comes to Medical Technologists. Sometimes other companies even hire Medtechs who are not yet licensed. That's how much they have the need for medtechs nowadays.

About OLFU-VALENZUELA: The professors are top in their field of specializations. Trusted to teach you everything you need to know and yet are so down to earth. Consultants in their own field of specialization are easy to approach. They help you in every step of the way.

The atmosphere is conducive for learning. You get to form groups for study sessions and researches. There is a designated leader for each class and year level to help students in their needs.

The facilities are great. The school is ISO certified and equipped with needed laboratories to simulate actual cases during training years. The school has it's own hospital that houses equipments and facilities at par with other hospital for training purposes.

My current job: I am currently reviewing for the Physician Licensure Examination provided by the school itself. The school has an in-house review for it's graduate to ensure that they do not only produce graduates, but professionals.

Why did I choose this school: I have failed my entrance examination in one of the popular school in Bulacan and had no choice but to look for an alternative.

About OLFU-VALENZUELA: OLFU is a less expensive school compared to most oher Hospitality Schools in the Philippines. The school building and their rooms were in good conditions. The facilities were not so advance and modern but highly acceptable. It was not crowded at my time as the HRM building is separated from the other courses. The teachers were well trained and you will get good theories from them.

My current job: I am currently the Director of Revenue Management in one of the chain of hotel here in the Pacific. Before flying abroad I was the Revenue Manager of the known hotel in Ortigas Center.

How long did it take to find a job: Right after my OJT.

Why did I choose this school: It's a coincidence, I graduated high school from a Visayan province, and I need to go back to my family in Bulacan. At that time, most universities already closed their entrance examinations, and only the Our Lady of Fatima University doesn't requires entrance examination for admission. Other schools nearby still accepts enrolees, but they don't offer the Biology course.

About OLFU-VALENZUELA: People are friendly and approachable... the students, the instructors & professors, guards, and the sanitary engineers (janitors). Professors are good in teaching their subjects and gives fair grades. On the other hand, the facilities, and equipment, including the library are very useful. Although there are no large open spaces for studying, still I was able to study well.

My current job: I am currently a Science Research Specialist at a public research institute here in the Philippines. I started as a Science Research Analyst for 7 months at the same institute.

How long did it take to find a job: It took me about 3 weeks after graduation to find a job. After graduation, I finished my remaining time from internship at the same institute where I am currently working. After finishing my internship, I applied for a contractual position in the Department of Microbiology in the said institute.

Why did I choose this school: A lot of people, especially in the medical field, convinced me to study in this school for the reasons that it has produced graduates who topped in the licensure exams and that it has good facilities. I was assured that the teachers are among the best in their fields of expertise.

About OLFU-VALENZUELA: This school has a huge campus with concrete buildings, and modern facilities and air-conditioned library, internet connected computer room, audio-visual room, and a chapel among others. Such facilities surely add to the improvement of the education and training of the students as well enhance it s stature in the community. The Our Lady of Fatima University has an arrangement for clerkship with some American hospitals. Likewise, the school’s curriculum is being updated to conform to the curriculum of the medical schools in the U.S. This means that a graduate of this school stands a good chance of passing the licensure exams in the States and probably being employed there. The standard of teaching in this school is one of the best among the medical colleges in the Philippines The teachers in the College of Physical Therapy are holders of a Masters Degree. This assures that the students are given the best education and training and make them competent and worthy of employment or engagement of any short-term contract.

My current job: I now have my own clinic in Texas, U.S.A. I provide physical therapy to all my patients. I have my own PT equipments.

How long did it take to find a job: Within a year after graduation, after I passed the Board, I was given a working visa for employment in a hospital in Texas, U.S.A.

Why did I choose this school: It is a CHED's center of development in Nursing and PACUCOA LEVEL 3.
OLFU is also an Autonomous university. It has also an affordable tuition fee. OLFU is also an OBE university.

About OLFU-VALENZUELA: The OLFU Valenzuela has scattered buildings. The building will depend on your course, if you are in para medical courses, most likely your building is in the "main" as what they called the buildings where the hospital is located. The hospitality courses, business and maritime studies is in "Dambana" and where the Basic Education Dept is located as well. College of computer studies and physical therapy is in Tamaraw.

OLFU has the best professor and instructors in town. They are very equipped and talented in their profession.

The classrooms is airconditioned and is very conducive for learning. The library is equipped with a lot of books you need, the library is also equipped with modern, technology when it comes to the books you need for studying and research. OLFU is wifi hotspot. You can do facebook in Library, you just have to ask the password for wifi.. The only thing that lacks with OLFU is the place where the students can rest or stay during their vacant hours. They have libraries and student lounge but not enough yet to accomodate the number of students especially during major exams where most of students are studying and reviewing. Well, theres a lot of coffee shop or tea shop around the university where you can stay. FYI no Starbucks yet.. :-)

Why did I choose this school: I choose this school because it is the one that near in my house specializing the course that I want. It also has a nice facility and environment. They also has a good and well environment hospital that can help me during my practicum. They also use a nice laboratories and auditoriums.

About OLFU-VALENZUELA: Our Lady of Fatima University is a well environment school. It specializes health care teams such as doctors, nurses, midwives, medical technologist, etc. But they not just showcase health courses, they also has tourism, HRM, Marines, etc. The professors were well educated and nice. They also had this nice humor that was easy to be with. They were also approachable. They taught us the proper handling, assisting, and talking to the patient. They also The facilities are nice and well maintained. They used sterilization and autoclaved when cleaning them.

My current job: Right now I'm unemployed.

How long did it take to find a job: It takes months. Cause after I graduated I took care for my grand mother she had a stroke. And I also do a OJT or volunteering job in one of the orphanage in the metro.

Why did I choose this school: I choose OLFU because there are no entrance exam required for you to enter. There is only an exam for those who wanted to have a scholarship. But you can also not take the exam anymore but still have a scholarship if depending on your grades in highschool. The school also offers a lower tuition fees than other schools. What will amaze you is that the College of Pharmacy was always awarded as the Top Performing school and every year, topnotchers were born.

About OLFU-VALENZUELA: Professors here are the best! Yes for me they are best. No one could go through the rain and floods except them and the students. :-D I am proud of them because they work hard in order for the students to really comprehend the subject.

The school is clean, the facilities are nice and the rooms were airconditioned. There are many libraries which are perfect places to study. There are wifis also which can help when researching. The computers are enough for everyone. There is a quadrangle with seats and tables where you can socialize. Students always pass the quadrangle so you could also see other courses there.

My current job: I am currently not yet working since I have to go home and have my vacation with my family.

Why did I choose this school: I was looking for a good university. And since it is a good university and very near from our home, my mother enrolled me there. The school has clean facilities and they said that the professors are good that's why I chose this university.

About OLFU-VALENZUELA: Every time I arrived at the school I just felt relaxed. I love gay professors, they're so funny. The corridors, rooms and even comfort rooms were clean. The whole campus is great.

My current job: I'm presently a Staff Dietitian in one of the known tertiary hospitals in QC. I'm in-charge of the therapeutic aspect of the Dietary department. I supervise the food service workers while they prepare the patient's food. I do nutrition counselling for patient's needing dietary instructions.

About OLFU-VALENZUELA: Studying has been comfortable when the air con was installed. Laboratory and return demonstration equipment were limited, others dysfunctional. The Virtual Laboratory was just a mini hospital setup, not often used for simulations. Professors would use laptops, but we were still required to do paperwork in cramped spaces within the worksheet, making it impossible to squeeze in details. Good professors in this college are pretty rare.
