Course description:
At the end of the degree program, the students should have:
1. Acquired religious and moral values, attitudes, habits and skills which make for strength of character needed for service and leadership as teachers;
2. A growing appreciation of their rich heritage as Filipino citizens and the skill to inspire and conscientize others for nation building;
3. Acquired a broad background in general education with excellence and competence in selected subject areas for teaching;
4. Developed skills in measuring and evaluating students knowledge of the process of growth and development of the child and apply these skills in selecting learning activities and adapting curriculum content;
5. Acquired appropriate classroom teaching methods and classroom management techniques;
6. Been able to carry out researches in the field of education and apply these in assessing and evaluating existing learning situation; and
7. Developed the values dignity and responsibility of the teaching profession as well as the ideas of Blessed St. Marcellin Champagnat and Mother Mary.
