Course description:
At the end of the degree program, the students should have:
1. Identified the various factors at work in society through exposure to a well-rounded education;
2. Acquired knowledge and skills in planning, managing and evaluating communication programs;
3. To develop skills in designing and producing multi-media (print, broadcast, audiovisual and electronic) outputs;
4. Acquired knowledge and skills in designing managing and evaluating communication campaigns;
5. Developed the skills in designing media-based learning systems, and conducting communication media research;
6. Identified the human and moral values that a true Filipino should live by;
7. Imbibed in the lives the Marian values and ideals of St. Marcellin Champagnat; and
8. Upheld professional ethics and standards and have practiced social responsibility at all times.
Graduates of AB Communication degree may find employment as:
• public and corporate communication and information officers,
• communication researchers and analysts,
• communication and media planners and managers,
• program development officers,
• public relations and advertising practitioners,
• learning system designers,
• multimedia designers, and allied or related professions.
