Admission Requirements - Foreign Students:
1. Alien Certificate of Recognition (ACR) from the Bureau of Immigration
2. Student VISA or letter of approval for the conversion to Student VISA
3. Letter of intent to study (indicating the course) at NORSU addressed to the University Registrar.
4. Photocopies of :
A. Passport where the point of entry stamp is indicated
B. Passport where the personal information is indicated
5. Rid Ribbon Certificate of the following:
A. Affidavit of Support
B. Transcript of Records or Secondary Certificate
C. Birth Certificate
D. No Derogatory Record
6. Certificate of Secondary Course Completion (with Certificate of Red Ribbon)
7. Student Transcript of Records (with Certificate of Red Ribbon) for College Level
8. 2 x 2 colored pictures with white background (2 copies)
9. Local address (Dumaguete City address), local contact number, local person of reference
NOTE:
• All Education, Birth and supporting documents should be duly certified by the Philippine Embassy through the Certificate of Red Ribbon.
• Students requesting for conversion of 9 (a) visa to 9 (f) should comply with the requirements set by the Bureau of Immigration
This school is included under the "Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education" law that passed in 2017.
The law covers students enrolled in State and Local universities/colleges in Bachelors and Certificate programs.
Under the Law students in accredited State and Local universities/colleges will not pay any tuition fees or misc fee.
The Law covers only first time students (students who don't already have a college degree).
However, the full implementation of this law is not clear yet.
