The course geared towards the study of metals, ceramics, polymers (Plastics), composites and semiconductors. The discipline of Materials Science and Engineering Technology involves investigating the relationships that exist between the structures and properties of materials.

The graduates of Materials Science and Engineering Technology are equipped with a wide range of knowledge, skills and attitude required in materials processing, production/manufacturing, fabrication, structure, properties and performance of materials. Possible employment of our graduates is in cement industry, mining industries, ferrous and non-ferrous metal industries, ceramics industries, polymer (plastics industry) and semiconductor company.

The development and applications of advanced materials will provide a global advantage to the country’s manufacturing, construction, biomedical system and service industries.

The course offers two major options:

1. Process Technology – specialized in processing and manufacturing of materials

Program Objectives

The curriculum of Electronics Engineering Technology with options in Communication Electronics and Computer Electronics will educate and equip students with the needed principles and manipulative skills in the field of Communication and Computer Technology. It will provide the students with extensive trainings and prepare them to be more responsive to the needs of the industrial sector not only in the Philippines but also abroad.
