Why did I choose this school: This school is well-managed. It has been operating for years and though it's not one of the top schools in the region, the school is also competitive and a good performer in certain aspects. The tuition and miscellaneous fees in Holy Cross are not expensive. I personally agreed to study here as I believed that I can still get a competent education that I can use in applying for jobs when I graduate.

About Holy Cross of Davao College: The school had qualified and experienced teachers especially those related to business subjects. The teachers were holders of masteral degrees in business management, behavioral management, and statistics so you can trust that they will give you a well-deserved education that meets quality. Even if they were teaching, they were at the same time employed or have been employed in big companies and some also had their own businesses so they were very much respected and looked-up to.

The school has a good studying environment. There were air-conditioned rooms and facilities especially for practical training. The chapel is air-con and there is a celebration of the Holy Mass everyday. It is very encouraging to attend the mass. The school’s educational standards is one of the highest in this region. There is peaceful and harmonious co-existence and cooperation of all students of different religion and culture. Sports, especially basketball and Karatedo, a Japanese martial art, are the most popular sports in this school.

My current job: Presently I am the manager of one of the biggest taxi operators in Davao City popularly known as “Maligaya”, which has a total of more than 100 taxis dispatched in the city.

How long did it take to find a job: I started work a month from graduation. I was hired in this company as an administrative trainee, now I am managing the entire operations of this business.

About Holy Cross of Davao College: The professors are good. Some are already have their doctorate degree and others go to other country to study to become more competent in teaching us Master's.

How long did it take to find a job: After I graduated my Bachelors degree in college, I took 2 weeks to find my job.

Why did I choose this school: As a catholic myself, I felt good studying in this kind of environment and culture where the school is administered by priests and nuns. That is because I sincerely believed that whatever values, morals, and principles the school has, they will be adopted, in one way or another, by the students. And for me, knowing what spiritual foundation the school lies on is important in influencing me to grow as a person that has good values and practices. This school is not only academic but also offers a “hands-on” educational system especially for my course.

About Holy Cross of Davao College: The school is clean, with air-conditioned library, clinic, chapel, canteen, and rooms for faculty and students are spacious and conducive enough. Facilities are not that great, but the facilities together with science and computer laboratories are functional and accessible to all students.

My current job: My job now is a service crew and cashier of a food establishment in one of the biggest malls in Davao City. I attend to all the customers’ needs and make sure that they get the best service that I can give.

How long did it take to find a job: It took only a week for me to get employed after graduation. I was a bit lucky that there was an opening and I was chosen from the many other applicants to this position.

Why did I choose this school: It's affordable and with good academic standards.

About Holy Cross of Davao College: The ambiance, teachers and/or professors are good and cool. They never leave their students with empty head.

In terms of school facilities, before I left, the buildings were old and need repair as well as other facilities for Physical education Class. We do have Internet library but the internet connections was very slow so students prefer to go to internet cafe for they school assignments and projects.

My current job: I am a recruitment and training officer.

About Holy Cross of Davao College: The school has been in Davao City for more than thirty years and have an elementary, secondary, tertiary, and graduate schools. The fees and tuition are not expensive and many enroll here. The teachers were equally as good as the other expensive schools. The quality of the teaching and training are competitive with others. There is a peaceful and orderly environment inside the campus.

Most of the facilities were not air-con except the faculty, library, and clinic. There were sports, cultural, and religious activities every year that make the school environment enjoyable and entertaining.

My current job: Presently I am the supervisor of a retail store in a one of the malls in Davao City. I supervise the sales and the personnel in the store, basically helping in proper management of the business.

How long did it take to find a job: I was already working even when I was in college. But after graduation I was immediately hired by my present employer.

Why did I choose this school: The first reason why I enrolled in this school is that I like the women’s uniform in HCDC, Second, the core values that are being promoted in this school is very admirable.

About Holy Cross of Davao College: HCDC teachers were really kind and understanding. The school has a good ambience and environment. There are sports and cultural activities which make the students participate and become respectful of each other. The teachers are good and they help the students with their studies. The good thing about HCDC is that this school is managed by priests. They teach student to behave and to respect authority. They are good disciplinarians. There are facilities like the canteen, gym, and auditorium for the benefit of the students.

My current job: I am currently the Head Supervisor of a certain “fastfood” chain here in Davao City. I supervise people and promote our establishment and it's products. I make sure that the standard procedures of the company are always being followed by all the crews. I monitor and collect data regarding sales, reports, and the expenses of the store everyday.

How long did it take to find a job: Luckily 1 year after graduating a family friend of ours offered a job as a supervisor for their upcoming business. Most of the companies prioritized applicants with a job experience already. I really had a hard time looking for a job. In order to get a good-paying job I had to take part-time jobs first just for me to have a working experience.

Why did I choose this school: Our residence before was just near this school. The school’stuition was affordable. So I studied here.

About Holy Cross of Davao College: This college is a well-run Catholic school that has good teachers. The educational standard is high. There is discipline in the campus and the students are trained to be courteous and respectful. There is a chapel inside and I used to visit it often.

My current job: I am now a Contractor in the construction business. I get contracts to build roads and buildings. Most of my projects are in building roads in certain municipalities of Davao and even in Compostela Valley in s Mindanao.

How long did it take to find a job: Less than a year after graduation I was employed in to Davao Union Cement Marketing Corporation to be a Salesman. I promoted and sold Union Cement. I developed dealers in Davao City and in other towns.

Why did I choose this school: This school operates and maintains a high standard of education; it is one of the best colleges in Davao City. It is very near to my residence. The total cost of this course until graduation is within the budget of my parents who were supporting me. These were the reasons why I preferred this school.

It has been in operation for more than 40 years and most of it's graduates are employed in good positions in private and government institutions.

My current job: I am now employed in a franchised food store as one of it's service and promo assistants. I take and serve the orders of customers. I also assist in the preparation of the food.

How long did it take to find a job: After a few months I was hired by the owner of this food store that I am working in.

Why did I choose this school: This is one of the best colleges in Davao City, but is not expensive. It is also a catholic school run by priests and nuns but is known to people and students embracing different faiths. Also it is nearer to my residence.

My current job: I do the accounting work and financial statement of a construction company in davao city.

How long did it take to find a job: Days after graduation I was already hired to do accounting work.
