Course description:
The Bachelor of Science in Social Work program plays a key role in the formation of competent, service-oriented, highly committed, principled and productive citizens through teaching and evangelizing, research and community extension services.
Believing in the evangelizing mission of the church, the BSSW program ensures a holistic and integral development of students to prepare them for direct social work practice in any setting and for responsible and productive membership in society.
Specifically it aims to:
1. Offer courses that meet the demands of a changing environment;
2. Nurture an academic community that fosters integrated learning, critical, analytical, creative, culturally sensitive and effective agents of social transformation;
3. Conduct research and support instruction, create new knowledge in the field of social work and enhance the quality of life;
4. Undertake extension programs and services that foster self-reliant, empowered, sustainable and gender-responsive communities.

Admission requirements:
INCOMING FIRST YEAR COLLEGE STUDENTS
1. High School Report Card (Form 138)
2. HCDC Entrance Test Results
3. Certificate of Good Moral Character
4. NSO-authenticated Birth Certificate
5. Four (4) copies of 1.5” x 1.5” color ID photos
Transferees (on top of the general requirements listed above)
1. Certificate of Transfer Credential (Honorable Dismissal)
2. Transcript of Records from the school previously attended
Scholarships:
1. Shall be accepted regardless of nationality, religious beliefs or political affiliations.
2. Must have graduated from a recognized secondary school.
3. Must have completed valid credentials for registration.
4. Must meet all the prescribed admission requirements of the college.
5. Must qualify for the course applied for enrollment.
6. Must pass the interview.
7. Must pass the Physical or Medical Examination.
8. Must pledge to abide by and comply with all the rules and regulations of the college.
9. Must not have enrolled in any academic college subject/s prior to enrollment as beginning freshmen, otherwise they shall be classified as transferees.
10. Must meet the prescribed admission requirements, such as:
• High School Report Card (Form 138)
• Entrance Test Result
• Certificate of Good Moral Character
• Clear Photocopy of the NSO Authenticated Birth Certificate (attach the original copy for validation). If NSO copy is not clear, student has to bring the Birth Certificated of Live Birth from the Local Civil Registrar
• Two (2) copies of 1.5” x 1.5” colored ID pictures
Tuition Fees:
P 15,000-20,000 per semester
