Course description:
The Bachelor of Science in Psychology program aims to live up to the philosophy of living by God’s truth and drawing out the good and the beautiful through the science and thus contribute to the effort of evolving a humane society in a culture marked with rational authentic Filipino Christianity.
The program shall prepare and equip students with skills necessary for the promotion of mental health, humane policies, peace and upright productive governance in the field of counseling, testing, clinical, human resource, research, etc. In the different institutions or sectors of society they may belong to after graduation from college.
Equipped with the basic skills and academic preparation, the BS Psychology graduates should be able to:
1. Establish a deeper relationship with God, to enable them to help build and strengthen their Christian faith;
2. Partake and contribute to knowledge-building through researches;
3. Be oriented to the physical and natural sciences with which psychology is interwoven in the BS-field;
4. Acquire skills in the use of technologies e.g. Computers;
5. Conduct psychological tests and assessments;
6. Acquire basic skills in counseling and facilitating and gain knowledge on the dynamics of human behavior;
7. Gain exposure to the community service programs – a step towards a responsible community life;
8. Gain exposure in four field-settings, namely: testing centers, counseling offices, human resource offices and mental health agencies; and
9. Communicate and interact with various people, regardless of the setting.

Board exam performance:
Admission requirements:
1. Shall be accepted regardless of nationality, religious beliefs or political affiliations.
2. Must have graduated from a recognized secondary school.
3. Must have completed valid credentials for registration.
4. Must meet all the prescribed admission requirements of the college.
5. Must qualify for the course applied for enrollment.
6. Must pass the interview.
7. Must pass the Physical or Medical Examination.
8. Must pledge to abide by and comply with all the rules and regulations of the college.
9. Must not have enrolled in any academic college subject/s prior to enrollment as beginning freshmen, otherwise they shall be classified as transferees.
10. Must meet the prescribed admission requirements, such as:
• High School Report Card (Form 138)
• Entrance Test Result
• Certificate of Good Moral Character
• Clear Photocopy of the NSO Authenticated Birth Certificate (attach the original copy for validation). If NSO copy is not clear, student has to bring the Birth Certificated of Live Birth from the Local Civil Registrar
• Two (2) copies of 1.5” x 1.5” colored ID pictures
