Scholarships at De La Salle John Bosco

High School Honor Students

The De La Salle John Bosco College grants scholarships to deserving students who excel in their studies.

1. Valedictorian shall be granted a 100% tuition fee privilege if they come from a class of at least 100 students.

2. Salutatorians shall be granted a half-tuition fee privilege if they come from a class of at least 100 students.

Privileges for honor students are given for the whole four years of study provided that the grantee obtains a general average of 1.50 or better every first semester with no grade below 2.0 in any subject and does not shift to another curriculum.

Scholarship Grants

Scholarship grants are also available to promising and qualified students subject to the terms and conditions set forth by the Scholarship Committee and the Benefactor.

All applicants for scholarship programs must:

• Present a letter from their school principal certifying their rank in the honor roll and indicating the number of graduating students (High School)

• Be in need of financial help

• Not engaged in any gainful occupation

• Carry the normal load of their curriculum

• Not have violated or liable for violation of the Students Code of Discipline

• Have a weighted general average of 1.50 during the preceding semester for continuing honor students

Application for Tuition Privilege and/or Scholarships

Application forms can be obtained from and submitted to the Scholarship Committee Chairman. All applications must be submitted within the official registration period unless otherwise specified.

Application submitted after the registration shall not be considered for the term applied. Should a student qualify for more than one privilege, he/she must choose only one.
