Why did I choose this school: I chose this school because it is located in Dasmarinas, Cavite far from the crowded metropolis of Metro Manila. I wanted to have no disturbance and hassle of a city life during my studies. I can study better in a silent and clean-air environment.

About DLSHSI Dasmariñas City: This school is part and an extension of the La Salle University in Taft Ave., Manila. In thinking forward to the future, this school was put in Cavite to make it the best medical school to cater to those residing in Southern Luzon. It has the ambience of a rural and urban environment, Its surrounding gives a mountainside freshness but very near to the malls and city life.

My current job: I am now a practicing general practitioner with my own clinic based in Metro Manila. I also treat children and advise them how to avoid getting sick again.

How long did it take to find a job: Immediately after graduation I worked in a hospital for my internship. I was assigned to the pediatrics.

About DLSHSI Dasmariñas City: De La Salle Health Sciences Institute basically molded its students to aim high and aim for excellence. They encourage the students to aspire for more and never settle for anything less. Their aim was to produce competent and world class nurses. The school does not only focus on the intellectual aspect, but also on the spiritual aspect of a student's life making the students even more religious.

The facilities were also very conducive for studying. They built big libraries which house many reference books that encourage the student to study even more. The nursing skills laboratory is also equipped with world class dummies and equipment that makes learning nursing skills much more realistic.

My current job: I am currently working in the hospital as an Emergency Room Staff Nurse which cares for individuals having ailments that needs immediate medical attention.

How long did it take to find a job: After graduating and passing the board exam, we needed to complete several training which is required in the profession. Completing trainings definitely took some time and it took me one year before finally landing a job.
