Course description:
The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Program aims to provide students with grounded scientific understanding in the proper care of animals and with competencies in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of animal diseases. The program also equips students with the necessary skills, knowledge, and clinical training to perform duties in livestock and exotic animal facilities, research laboratories, animal pharmaceutical companies, national veterinary services offices, and private clinics locally and internationally.

Admission Requirements - Freshmen:
1. Present the Official Receipt at the Admissions Office to get the LEAP Examination Permit.
2. Submit the initial following requirements in order to take the LEAP Examination (Applicable for all levels)
3. Two (2) copies of accomplished Application form with 2x2 picture (white background)
4. One (1) Long Ordinary Folder
5. NSO Birth Certificate (photocopy)
6. Two 2”x2” identical recent photographs taken within the last 6 months.
7. Photocopy of previous Report Card in the absence of the current report card and/or Evaluation copy of Form 137.
8. Recommendation Form (Downloadable at www.dlsau.edu.ph/admissions) to be accomplished by either Classroom Adviser, Guidance Counselor or the Principal to be submitted in a sealed envelope.
Admission Requirements - Transferees:
1. Present the Official Receipt at the Admissions Office to get the LEAP Examination Permit.

Admission Requirements - Foreign Students:
Additional requirements for International Student Applicants (All Programs and in all Levels)
1. Applicants must achieve a score of 6.0 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
2. Transcript of Records/Scholastic Records (original and photocopies) duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy or Consulate in the applicant’s country of origin or legal residence;
3. Passport (photocopy)
4. Family Register/Birth Certificate
