Course description:
General:

The Environmental Science degree program aims to equip graduates with knowledge, skills and values that shall enable them to deal with environmentally-related problems.

Specific:

1. To equip students with sufficient knowledge essential in the understanding of environmental quality, issues and problems.

2. To provide students with skills and techniques in identifying environmental problems using the scientific theories.

3. To enable students to integrate and apply various disciplines toward holistic approach in solving environmental problems, control or reverse environmental damages; and

4. To promote environmental consciousness and value systems required to address the multiple stresses, impacts and effects of the environmental problems and that these are all global responsibilities.
