About Centro Escolar University: Our school was more popular when it comes to Science courses, esp. Dentistry. The reason why I studied there is because I took B.S. Medical Technology (as advised by my parents and relatives) before I shifted to Commerce.

Our College Dean, Dr. Conrado Inigo Jr., then was also a Professor in some of our Management subjects. If all professors were like him, I could say that our College (Accountancy, Commerce and Secretarial Administration) is one of the best school for Business. Some middle-aged professors, esp. those who are teaching major subjects are knowledgeable and skilled. But don't expect much from the new our young College Professors.

Our school (honestly) is so crowded. Even way back during our time in the 90's. Study areas all over the university is always occupied with students having their "vacant" or free time, waiting for their next subject.

I heard that the university has improved it's facilities. As far as I can remember, we had a chapel, a gym, covered basketball court and a cooperative. Computers were still limited then so 2 students share 1 computer. I hope there are more than enough computers now.

My current job: I am working as an Office Manager for a foreign company.

How long did it take to find a job: It took me around 2 months to land my first job.

Why did I choose this school: I choose this school because I believed they can provide what a tourism students need and provide a high standard teachings that I can use in future.

About Centro Escolar University: The ambiance is good. Frat or sorority were not allowed.

Professors are knowledgeable and they based the example on their experiences

Facilities are complete. All rooms are air condition. Library has a lot of books and references that can use by undergraduate and graduate students. There were friendship area in the school where can use to socialize or even for studying alone or as a group.

About Centro Escolar University: CEU-Manila is like an oasis surrounded by desert dunes. It may be located in Mendiola, wherein rallies and protests usually take place, but inside the campus, it is very peaceful and serene. It is very conducive for learning. It may be not as big as other universities, but it's size served it's purpose.

The professors are very competent. They live to the philosophy of the university which is "Ciencia y Virtud, " which means "Science and Virtue." They teach theoretical concepts and how it can be applied to real life.

The facilities are good and sufficient. To name a few, it has a modern library and auditorium, conducive classrooms and skill laboratories, and a spacious gym and swimming pool.

My current job: I am currently unemployed. After graduation, I focused on reviewing for the nursing board examination. After I passed it, I attended different training and seminars. As of now, I am still looking for a job in the hospital as a staff nurse.

Although I can apply to other jobs unrelated to my course, I want to practice my hard-earned profession. For now, I am considering volunteering to hospitals.

Why did I choose this school: The university had good reputation and quality of education.

About Centro Escolar University: The totality of the whole experience in CEU is quite impressive when it comes to versatility. You meet different types of people, races and cultures as almost all came from different part of the Philippines and even from other countries. It is also an honor to be around prestigious professors of the university.

About Centro Escolar University: CEU is great. The people are awesome as long as you know how to get along with them. The school itself is one of the known schools here in the country shes one of the oldest schools that was built here in the philippines during spanish era. So it's a bit old but her beauty remains.

The facilities are ok too... Though the only facilities we used as a BST students are the laboratories and kitchens.

The professors -- theyre all great! Some are serious. Some are funny. But all of them are smart. They taught us a lot. And they will make sure that everything you learned from them stays with you.

How long did it take to find a job: A month after my graduation. I started working in NAIA as a ground steward. Then last year I decided to try working as a call center agent until now.

Why did I choose this school: I chose this school because it is one of the Pioneering school to offer the social work course in the country and it's rich history.

About Centro Escolar University: I think it is a friendly environment for students with the teachers trying to reach out to their students and who always understands them and it has a well equipped facilities for different courses especially the science related courses.

How long did it take to find a job: After knowing the result of the Board Exam for Social Workers given last July 2015 (from which I fortunately passed) I started applying for job last August 2015 and hired sometime in September 2015. So it took me four months before I got my first job as a Social Welfare Officer.

About Centro Escolar University: As people say, we are not in school to learn everything; we go to school for us to know what are the things we really need to learn. Same with my experience in my university; sure I didn't have the best professors in this country, yes we don’t have that wide campuses and modern buildings, and I know I didn't had the best technical facilities as far as my course is concern. But I can proudly say I was provided the foundation for me to compete with thousands of graduates outside – in the corporate world. My school, its safe environment and caring people simply provided me enough to take and surpass life challenges in the field I have chosen to take.

My current job: A Management Trainee (and a Systems Analyst) for Corporate Information Systems.

About Centro Escolar University: All the professors like to talk a lot, just like their students in political science. So if a student want to be heard, he has to agressively compete with the professors to get some talking time.

About Centro Escolar University: My school is literally girly from the color of the buildings to the outline of the uniforms. (not in med tech proper) and also our P.E uniform was so cute haha. The ambience of CEU was really homie. You gotta have enough energy while climbing the stairs of the Dent Sci Bldg and those little steps in GDL as well as in Pharma bldg.

No worries for the AC in each room you gotta bring a jacket with you if you don't like to be frozen there in your seat. (shivering from cold lol) And also the hallways are the perfect spot to cram studying for your next subject (its clean so don't worry jk)

As for the professors.. Hmm you'll know it when you already encounter them. HAHAHAHA (they're intelligent and nice btw)

How long did it take to find a job: After I passed the boards, I didn't apply for a job right away. I was unemployed for like 2 months-- 1 month tambay then 1 month applying for a job.

Why did I choose this school: I have chosen this university because it offers a degree in Pharmacy since 1929 and this school is actually performing very good aside from being a top provider of licensed pharmacists in the Philippines.

My current job: I am now a Process Executive and I already earning almost $750-800/month with 0 months experience to this line of business. It is my license which is getting paid higher than my basic salary and allowance.

How long did it take to find a job: Right after I took the board exam, I got a job at Watsons and some community-based pharmacies. I never had a difficult time in switching employers. Philippines is always lacking of pharmacists.

Why did I choose this school: It was pre-selected by my aunt.

About Centro Escolar University: The school's fine. It has some need for improvement when it comes to the facilities (e.g the Quadrangle, the hallways, etc) but the people, instructors and janitors, they are all nice and accommodating.

My current job: Customer Support of Travel website.
I handle inquiries and requests from customers from US about the properties that are under our company.

How long did it take to find a job: A month after the graduation.

Why did I choose this school: I chose this school because I have heard lots of good things about this place. It's also near my home so it's convenient for me.

About Centro Escolar University: The ambiance of this school is hyper, no bad or quiet days. If there's an event for another course or party, you can be a member or join in. It's very clean and smoking isn't allowed which is cool.

The professors or teachers were nice, some were strict and some were not so strict. They were friendly to students and very open about jokes and stuff.

My current job: Captain Leader/Team Leader- this includes every paper works, it's like assistant manager cause you'll be handling important documents, papers and money. I am also a server/waitress and a cashier. It's flexible positions and it's awesome cause you will learn everything that other positions don't know.

How long did it take to find a job: Not long. Our school is handling job events every year so even not graduating students can have sidelines there. Companies have different booths and not hard to find a job. They will hire you as soon they like your resume.

About Centro Escolar University: In CEU, Mendiola, the College of Science building is separated with the main buliding together with the College of Dentistry. In our building, since it's newer compared to those college buildings in the main, the rooms are nicer and has good cooling system, it's not too crowded because we only get to share the area with Dentistry students only at that time, I just don't know how's it going now in there.
The professors, well most of them were very good, they are approachable especially those on your major subjects. Hmmmm, maybe because they are psychology professors I guess.

My current job: My previous job was at The Medical City, I was a Patient Assistance Officer. We handle all sorts of complaints, may it be in person, via phone or e-mail.

How long did it take to find a job: Not too long, maybe a month or two after graduating.

About Centro Escolar University: Mendiola, Manila is a great place to study with a lot of nearby places to roam around to let off some steam from the "student life"
My Professors were great. You could never ask for a better set of mentors to guide you through your journey of being a responsible student.
The facilities were great, it is in good shape and also the Equipment in the laboratories were up to date or as some may say high-end.

My current job: Proud to be a "Coach Track Trainee" in a call center.

About Centro Escolar University: The professors were there to help you out. I can say all of them were serious with their specific subjects and when you say allibies like you dont have money to buy dental materials which we are required to do on a daily basis, they will advise you to quit dentistry. outside school we find that we can consider our professors as our friends

The atmosphere and facilities is fine, knowing Dentistry is one of the top Colleges in CEU were really pampered having classrooms like amphetheaters, fully airconditioned with soundsytem in the 80's. Its really great !
The Dental Floors at CEU at that time was a full 2-3 storey building. Having their own departments per area. we've got brand new fully motorized dental chairs and we learned to do the 12 o'clock position or the sit-down dentistry style. Everything we needed to experience a modern dental office and carreer we had it in College.

My current job: I've been a dentist for almost 28 years now. been practicing dental profession at home and now also works at the callcenter industry taking calls.

How long did it take to find a job: Right after graduation, I took the board examinations and passed it in take one. then I got involved in private practice at once and put my own dental office at home.

Why did I choose this school: I have heard that this school offers great facilities for pharmacy course.

About Centro Escolar University: Ceu Manila, being one of the early universities who offered BS Pharmacy course has this old Spanish times ambiance. Though the buildings are old, classrooms are equipped with up to date facilities, each classroom is provided with an air-conditioner and LCD TV's. Some times old professors would still be using over head projectors but not at all times, most of the time they have been using computer/digital projectors.

Professors and instructors are knowledgeable, they really know what they are talking about and they're pretty considerate about their students. They work hands on health care system and during lab works they provide assistance.

The library is a cool place and it is pretty well provided. You can socialize at the student activity center (SAC) where you can do group activities, do your projects and home works and can meet new group of people.

My current job: I don't have a job as of now because I'm still reviewing for the board exams.
But some companies have already offered jobs, like being a marketing staff in a well known store and some pharmaceutical companies are recruiting pharmacist while we were reviewing.

Why did I choose this school: I chose this school to be honest because I loved their nursing senior clinical uniform. It served as my inspiration to get to 4th year college as fast as I can so that I may wear the prestigious senior clinical uniform. It may seem shallow for a reason but something has to keep you going when you're force to take a course you thought you wouldn't like. Also, CEU has a good reputation in healthcare-related courses, so it's a pretty good choice.

About Centro Escolar University: The ambiance: It is very suitable for studying. Everything. The library, the lanai area, the locker areas, pantries, mezzanine. They were all in the right places. I stayed in one private school from nursery to high-school so I thought I would experience culture shock in college but thanks to CEU I wasn't that overwhelmed and it's a good thing. I was overwhelmed with the school activities during my first year because everything is new to me but the place, the professors know how to handle every type of student. Being at the top of their game. I'd give my alma mater a 9.5 out of 10 for ambiance. No school is perfect that's why I'm giving off a .5 variance. I don't want to appear biased or anything.

Air-conditioned, of course! After walking in the streets of Mendiola, CEU's aircon rooms are there to save us from all the "hotness" in the streets. The library is very conducive for study and research and not for group research of course because that would disturbing the other students but yeah, the library is innovative and technolyze in it's own way. We won't have a hard time finding books we need since we have a computer to find every book, articles, thesis... whatever it is we need and that saves a lot of time for us. We also have a cybrary for online research needs and that's an additional point for me. Yes, we have enough computers and I can say I am above average in computer literacy, all thanks to my computer subject professor and the facility of course.

A perfect place to socialize and group projects and research is the lanai. It is situated in the middle of campus and gives you fresh air and that natural ambiance since there are trees around and it's an open are.

A perfect spot to just unwind and chit-chat. Gimme a camera and I'll capture lots of laughing and smiling faces at our lanai area. I also love the lockers in there, there are different sizes which the students can choose from depending on their needs and the size of our books and nursing books are frigging encyclopedias in size. Haha! Let is not forget the nursing-related facilities, we have more than enough instruments to teach us not just the basics but an in-depth knowledge on nursing and the actual return demonstrations were perfect because CEU provides all the needs of the nursing students and what's more they use top of the line materials for the sake of not compromising the quality of education and I admire CEU for that.

My current job: I'm a nurse. A staff nurse in Veterans Memorial Medical Center. I take care of our veteran soldiers who now needs our care in return for they protected our countrymen.

How long did it take to find a job: After I passed the board exam last July 2011, I became a volunteer nurse in VMMC for the first quarter of the year and got absorbed in the 3rd quarter of the same year.

Why did I choose this school: I choose CEU Manila because they are one of the universities getting the highest percentage in passing the Dentist board exam. It is also much convenient studying at CEU because whenever you need some materials, it is easy because the dental stores are just outside the university, you will not go to far places anymore to look for something.

About Centro Escolar University: CEU is so clean, the professors are all good in their teaching technique, they are really professional (I mean even if they are already Doctors or even a dean. they are not using it just for students to look up into them, they are really a good example).

The rooms are well air-conditioned & have an LCD or television. We have a big study areas where we can sit for break time, sleep, study or even have talks. The library is well disciplined and arranged.

About Centro Escolar University: I loved my school because it's located in university belt where you will see and meet different kinds of students. The ambiance was always happy, there's always an event of another department, another event for professors or organizations. It's a fun school.

The professors or deans are nice, they aren't scary as other people say, unless you have bad records or violations, they will be so strict on you.

All rooms are air conditioned, the library is big and has second floor and stuff, we have mini museum in there too. There are lots of places you can chill or rest at, they have lots of parks, gardens and so many canteens, chairs and tables everywhere.

My current job: My family has a business, we have lots of grocery stores or what we call sari-sari stores. I own one store and soon will be two and more.

Why did I choose this school: I know someone who studied the same course in that university who became successful in his chosen profession.

About Centro Escolar University: All rooms are air-conditioned except for some laboratories.
The library has most of the books that you need (also thesis), the librarians are friendly too. There are lots of canteens to choose from inside the school, also outside like Jollibee, Chowking, Mang Inasal, Bon Chon, etc.
There are places to rest too like near the Library, and near the clinic. The nurses and some doctors are also nice.

My current job: As of now I dont have a job cause I didn't apply yet.

Why did I choose this school: I thought that this school will give me enough knowledge to learn new things and teach me how to grow independently.
