About Central Philippine University: The atmosphere is a healthy and a cheery one. You could make friends easily. You can also avail most of the services the school offers. It is safe too because the administration makes sure that there are guards everywhere in the campus.

The professors are objective in giving grades. They were not terror ones. You just have to show them your effort and your determination in passing their subjects.

Facilities are great. The library is always open. You can have free access to the internet also when you want to research about something and can't find it in the library. Health is given importance too and classrooms are well-lighted and have enough electric fans and some have air-cons too.

My current job: I'm a Speech Pathology Assistant.

How long did it take to find a job: Before graduation (about 3 weeks ahead), the job was already offered to me. So, I did not wait that long. A week after graduation, I started working.

You’ll meet different kind of professors, some are strict, neutral, friendly, boring, funny, easy going and religious. But these professors are really great educators.

What I like the most in our school is the University food court. It is the only school who have this kind of facility. We also have the Olympic size swimming pool. Henry Luce III Library is the largest library in Western Visayas. The CPU main campus sits on a 24 hectare of land in Iloilo City. University church, prayer garden, gym, multimedia center, CPU Channel, Advertising Multimedia and Editing room and a lot more.

My current job: I am currently self employed starting my own events organizing business. I am also a freelance video editor.

How long did it take to find a job: It took me 3 months to find a Job. And my first job is in San Jose Antique I worked there as a Video Editor in a Cable TV company.

About Central Philippine University: My school's atmosphere, in my opinion, is one of the best venue for learning and studying Nursing. I am not saying this because I am an alumnus but to be honest it caters the need of a student nurse as well as future registered nurses.

My school is accredited to certain hospitals which provide us with excellent nursing training not only that my school has a home based hospital, Iloilo Mission Hospital, where in it only caters us (centralians) to be there only student nurses.
When it comes to facilities we do have one of the biggest library in the city which I think is very beneficial when it comes to honing your knowledge on the theories.

We do have gyms and a pool as well as up to date computer class rooms and speech labs which are very necessary because our school aims to build a globally competitive students and alumni.

Professors differ from different areas being assigned to and I was lucky enough that all of the professors that I was assigned to were all good and professionally excellent in their respective fields.

My current job: I am a theater/ Operating room Nurse here in Iloilo City.

How long did it take to find a job: After graduation I need to review for the board exams so to be specific it took me 10 months before I landed a job or 1 month after taking the board exams. Though my 1st job was a personal nurse to a geriatric patient (old patient), I wasn't technically a registered nurse back then but my employer knew it and still accepted me to have that job.

About Central Philippine University: It has been an amazing experience. Although I'm not the type that actively participates in school activities, I was nevertheless entertained as an observer. A school year full of activities and events ensures that everybody will be preoccupied the whole year round.

Our school is one of the most beautiful schools in the Philippines, it may not be as wide as the other major schools in the country but it's area is above average nonetheless. We have auditorium, a two-basketball court gymnasium, an Olympic-size swimming pool, two soccer fields, a softball field, a health and fitness gym, and our own hostel. The school has it's own powerhouse which houses that standby generator sets that automatically takes over during power interruptions.

Being a Christian university, the school has this relaxed ambiance wherein you could tell that the people all around you are friendly and approachable. One proof that this is a religious school is the presence of a prayer garden. Having visited other schools, I could easily say that the friendliness of our school's faculty and staff is unsurpassed.

The professors, our mentors, are as helpful as any teacher could be. We owe to them the knowledge we have now and for that, we are ever grateful.

About Central Philippine University: Central Philippine University was where my father graduated in Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. I struggled to decide which of the universities I applied into will I continue my education until I realize that I can consider the distance between my school and my home, familiarity of professors and the atmosphere, thus I was able to finally decide I would be continuing my education in Central Philippine University with hopes I can finish my course in solid four years.

My current job: My current job is administrative assistant in The Redsystems Company, Inc under Coca-Cola FEMSA Philippines.

How long did it take to find a job: I worked for eleven months in my uncle's law office while also applying for bank jobs, until I learned of a job opportunity in Coca-Cola FEMSA Philippines (formerly Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc.).

About Central Philippine University: I studied, was prep and graduated from Central Philippine University. I was trained not just focusing on the cognitive aspect of my learning but the holistic realm of learning itself. CPU offered me beyond the means of my expectations. They have the facilities, competent and driven teachers and well-rounded leaders. I may sound proud of my school but I think I really am. There isn't a perfect school and rest assured free from flaws but what I really like most from my school aside from the University Day celebration, is the so-called "Central Spirit" naturally instilled in us. It is a kinship shared by all Centralians who grew in good values and that kept our faith sparkled. That might be the reason why I think CPU is quite unique and special for me.

Regardless of the the school that inculcated us through the academic aspect, extra curricular activities, sports etc... it is within a person to realize how positively he/she has been changed through the experiences gained in school.

My current job: I'm currently Teaching now as a SpEd and preschool teacher.

How long did it take to find a job: 24 days (I didn't even applied! Talking about God's favor.)

About Central Philippine University: Most of our Departments professors are young, they were all accommodating and very good at their craft. I didn't have anything against them since we considered them as our loving mentors.
The school's atmosphere is laid-back and it has that friendly tone to it. I dont know why but maybe because our University is probably one of the largest universities in the Visayan region, which mean plenty of room for students to lounge and mingle with one another.
The facilities are also great. We have the largest library in all of Panay. We have a football field where the Azkals used to practice back when they werent that popular yet. We have an olympic-sized swimming pool. A huge music hall/theatre. Indoor basketball court and the rooms are also well-ventilated. Sometimes we even get to use the aircon. Haha! I never had trouble with my school. It was all good.

My current job: I dont have a job now.

How long did it take to find a job: I didnt immediately look for a job since I wanted to rest for a while.. after I decided that I was ready, it only took me 2 weeks to get a job in a call center - Convergys Ayala.

Why did I choose this school: My mom is a Centralian, and she wants me to join the same fraternity. Talk about legacy. Its kind of sad that I ended up in a different fraternity.

About Central Philippine University: The atmosphere - typical university atmosphere. Too many activities to chose from. From June to September.

The professors - a mixed of nuts and bolts. Some are cool, some are boring, some can kill with just one look that will leave you traumatized and drop the subject. You need to take the advice of the older students and enroll to the cool teachers that will make your life in CPU fun.

My current job: I'm a businessman. I own a merchandising shop that sells goods from farm supplies to hardware and groceries.

How long did it take to find a job: I was jobless for 2-3 years then I decided to put up a business. I do ghost writing from time to time but writing is just my hobby.

About Central Philippine University: Students are both friendly but some have attitude. During my first to third year, we usually would be mixed up with other courses so it gave us opportunity to mingle with students from other courses. As for facilities, we had good facilities but some of it were not used.

My current job: Structural Design Engineer

How long did it take to find a job: 8 months

About Central Philippine University: Atmosphere is great and conducive for learning, since the engineering building is also in the move for renovating some parts to give way for new classrooms and technical rooms. They may be lacking in the number of professors since there's only a few, but I would say that it's enough to teach us what we need to know.

My current job: Don't have a job yet due to the fact that I spent 1 year for board exam review and personal reasons why I haven't look for a job, but searching for one now.

My professors taught me a lot of things. We had bonding and I miss it a lot. I want to go back in Iloilo.

About Central Philippine University: The atmosphere in my school is very good since the ambiance. There are lots of trees and grass around the area of the classrooms. Libraries are well equipped with books where you can have your research. Schools has a court, big auditorium, dormitories for male and female. Teachers are all very much qualified and very capable with the field they are teaching.

My current job: I'm employed in a multi-national company with the position of Accounting Manager

How long did it take to find a job: After I graduated, I worked after a few months as a collector and sales clerk of a lumber and hardware business.

The atmosphere is nice since there are many trees that surrounds the place and has a wide area where there plenty of buildings. The professors are skilled and nice when it comes to teaching lessons to their students.
