Course description:
Recognizing the value of manual labor, the Agriculture Department aims to provide technical skills and attitudinal training adequate to meet the standard and expectation of professional agriculturists. It also aims to direct the student’s attention to the Creator of natural laws and phenomena associated with the care of the environment and substantial production to help the economy of the country.
Objectives:
Students who will pursue the Agriculture curriculum will:
1. Serve as denominational employees or become self-supporting laymen prepared to assume leadership roles in a community.
2. Better appreciate the role of God as Creator and the unique stewardship responsibility of men as they become personally involved in the care of plants and animals.
3. Gain a high respect for the dignity of labor, irrespective of social background, by engaging in various activities required for the successful pursuit of the vocation.
4. Be acquainted with the general field of Agriculture and it's more specialized branches through theoretical and practical experiences.
