Course description:
The Master in Information Technology program is a non-thesis terminal program for information technology educators who need to upgrade their knowledge and skills. The department has created this program in line with the Faculty Development Program of the Commission on Higher Education. The MIT curriculum of the department is a graduate program composed of 48 units of coursework and 6 units of Capstone project.

The program is consist of bridging courses (18 units), core courses (12 units), specialization courses (18 units) and Capstone project (6 units). The electives/specialization courses maybe any six (6) graduate courses offered or accredited by the department. Capstone project must be presented in a national or international public forum. The MIT Program is a content course, as opposed to the education course. Students will be taught computer science, not how to teach computer science.
