About Adamson U: The ambiance is very well suited for learning. The professors are very well trained and educated. The facilities are very well maintained especially the library. They make sure that the references are up to date and they also subscribe to online journals.

My current job: Drug Safety Team Leader - I manage people doing drug safety analysis and pharmacovigilance. We report adverse events (events not known when taking a drug) to business partners and health authorities such as FDA, DOH, etc.

How long did it take to find a job: I had my job on my graduation day itself.

About Adamson U: Adamson University is one of the original schools that offers mining engineering program in the Philippines for so many years now. It produces topnotch mining engineers and become executives of most mining companies and government agencies in the country to date. The new director of Mines & Geo-sciences Bureau Leo L. Jasareno is a 1978 mining engineering graduate of Adamson and a classmate of mine.

My current job: As of now, I am a practicing mining engineer in Ontario, Canada managing tunneling project and waste disposal facilities of Ontario Power Generation, Nuclear Division.

How long did it take to find a job: After my graduation in 1978, in two weeks I find a job as Quarry Engineer in a cement factory in Antipolo, Rizal. From thereon, I never stop working. I immigrated to Canada in 1992 under skilled immigrant program which grant mining engineer as a top priority profession that Canada needs.

Why did I choose this school: Because I heard that it was a school that offers education with a heart. Also because the tuition fees are much more affordable than other Catholic Private Schools, and because they offer a wide range of scholarships, which I needed to be able to study my college degree.

About Adamson U: I personally liked the atmosphere in AdU since it has a homey/a feel-at-home kind of atmosphere wherein one Adamsonian helps out another and we all use the word "classmate" (even when we have never had a class with the person before) as a generic term that we call each other (especially if we don't know the person we're talking to). To add, there's also not much stereotyping in AdU and you'd feel like you belong in any given situation. :)

The professors:
I could honestly say that a great number of our professors in AdU are par excellence at their own given field of study. Some are still on the process of becoming excellent, but I think the common denominator in all of them is that they usually incorporate good morals (directly or indirectly) to the students, which I think makes for a good professional out of the student.

The facilities:
In all honestly and pride, I could say that AdU has par excellence facilities. Annually, I personally see an improvement in our campus whether it would be additional classrooms, sports facilities, a new building or a an improved covered court, you won't feel like you're tuition is going to waste.

My current job: Currently, I am an online English tutor at a Japanese company. It was a job I had since my senior year, and one which I kept until now since I did not accept any psychology-related jobs (as of the moment) since I am focusing on my review for the Psychometrician's Board Exam this coming October.


How long did it take to find a job: Honestly, I've had job offers at my doorstep even before graduation, and I've had more than seven job offers (in totality before and after graduation) that I politely turned down, since I have plans to take up my board exam first, and also returning to my province and work there instead.

About Adamson U: Adamson University is known for being pioneer school in Chemical Engineering with passionate and hardworking professors and positive performance of the students in National Board Exams. The University is known as a charity school and one of the lowest tuition fee private catholic schools that also delivers top graduates. Adamson University owns largest Chemistry laboratory in South East Asia with 1 is to 1 ratio to laboratory apparatus.

About Adamson U: Overall, the ambiance was good. When say "classmate" to each other even if we don't know the person nor literally have not been classmates, so it's easy to have an open conversation.

The professors, though sometimes are categorized as "terror" are actually good teachers and mentors.

The overall facilities are good, air-conditioned rooms, 1:1 ratio for the computers and the laboratory equipment are up-to-date though some are still nearing obsoletion. We have a large library which has a good environment for studying, we have the botanical gardens, Saint Vincent de Paul Plaza, CS walkway, OZ Carpark, ST Quadrangle and others to socialize and hang out.

My current job: Assist Sales of the company's products, systems and services via telephone and electronic means.

How long did it take to find a job: 10 months, though I used the 8 months for the review of Board exam.

Why did I choose this school: Basically this is my alma mater from elementary and high-school. Honestly speaking I was just influenced by my classmates in high-school to study in the same university. My dream school during my high-school was in University of Santo Tomas. But unfortunately I was not able to pass the entrance examination that's why I chose to stay in my alma mater.

About Adamson U: The Ambiance: It is okay, normal kind of university you would see in the movies. But one thing differs my school from all of those universities in metro manila. It is the "Estero" inside my school. You will pass onto it everyday if you have classes in the other buildings and you can smell the fragrance of it every minute of your college life in Adamson University. There is also a plenty of trees surrounding the university and you can appreciate the nature's gift to mankind through it.

The Professors/Teachers: Well, I can say that we are confined with the limited number of professors starting from 1st year college up to the graduation. We are only having different professors because of our Minor Subjects but most of our teachers from our Major Subjects are also the same person who are our professors before during our early stay in the college. They are brilliant, some of them are terror, some of them will be your friend, your enemies and some of them can be a parent to you. Life is a big challenge wherein you will have to face different kind of people in your everyday life. It is up to you on how you will treat or react to their actions towards you. Like what I've said awhile ago, nothing in the world is permanent except change.

The Facilities: So far so good, the facilities in my school are quite good. All of the rooms were air-conditioned since first year. There are a lot of computer rooms in which we can use for our reports and researches. The equipment that we are using for our practicum is quite complete, but old. The library is good, but not that big, but can cater the needs of the students of my university. In terms of places in which you can socialize, rest and study. There are plenty of it. You can stay along the corridor, stay underneath the tree, or you can stay along the footbridge under the estero and smell it's freshness.

My current job: My current job as of the moment is an Account Manager.
I am a sales agent now. We are under a IT Company and we sell ERP System for Manufacturing, Distribution companies.

How long did it take to find a job: I think it takes about 7 months for me to have a job after the graduation.

About Adamson U: My school is awesome. It is not like any other school with a plain student-school relationship. I personally experienced it as a second home where everyone was very supportive up until now. My relationship with my professors, classmates and even our Administrator is solid that until now whenever we see each other, we always remember each other in a heartbeat. As for the facilities and atmosphere, I would say we had everything we needed. Facilities were complete and state-of-the-art and the atmosphere was really conducive for learning.

My current job: My contract just ended so, at the moment, I am waiting for an opportunity to work abroad.

How long did it take to find a job: It was funny as I did not intend in applying so soon. I wasn't in any rush but just 2 days after my board exam, I was able to start working in a good company.

Why did I choose this school: Simply because my older brother came from this school as well.

About Adamson U: The atmosphere - nothing special about this I guess just the same with the other not so classy school I guess. If you came from a public school just like me, you will not find it any different. Most students here are not richy rich so you will not have a hard time mingling to find new friends.

The Professors - nothing special about this just the same with the other schools they have good and not so good teachers. Like I've encountered a super strict teacher but I also had teachers who doesn't care they just came to give paper works, not thinking if their students are really learning.

My current job: I am a Data Analyst now.

How long did it take to find a job: After graduating in March I already had a job come May. The place were I had my OJT hired me but I just lasted for 15 days because I was hired but I wasn't given a contract, so I decided to leave. Then June I was about to start in another company but had due to my medical it was delayed and just started working in November and became regular employee July of the following year.

Why did I choose this school: Was referred by a friend.

About Adamson U: The school was good and improving. The professors were good and the atmosphere is relaxing.

My current job: Associate Relation Manager in bank. My job is to generate revenue through bank product and services like loan, credit card and deposit accounts.

How long did it take to find a job: 2 months.

About Adamson U: Adamson University has a very friendly environment. You can easily get friends and they have a lot of organizations for students to join such as Music, Acting, Dancing, Writing Club, etc. There are a lot of hipsters there too. The professors at Adamson University are the same as with the professors at La Salle, U.P Diliman, P.W.U, PLM, PUP, etc.
It is all Air Conditioned.

About Adamson U: Adamson University has conducive facilities for learning. Moreover, the IT professors are good. In-campus improvements are regular too. The tuition fee is really put into good use.

My current job: I am a software engineer in one of the major mobile telecommunications company here in the country.

How long did it take to find a job: I signed my first job offer even before graduation! How cool is that?

Why did I choose this school: It is a known school and it has high standards. Learning of the students is their top priority. Accessibility as well is what made me choose this school.

About Adamson U: It provides a competitive atmosphere and they have strict rules for students to abide. The professors are great. However, some of them still stick to the traditional method of teaching. The facilities are complete and you couldn't ask for more.

My current job: I'm a data analyst In SPI GLOBAL. And I can say I'm doing good and loving my job now.

How long did it take to find a job: It took me 1 month and 1 week. I had two interviews, then finally landed a job.

About Adamson U: Our school provide a friendly environment that encourage student to follow school rules and engage in student organization and activities. We have great professors that really boost our skills and talents that made me from introvert to partially an extrovert.

My current job: Currently I am an Associate Software Engineer at Sykes Asia Inc. Most of my task it to help on project and even create proof of concept and even standards.

How long did it take to find a job: I was hired even before I was graduated my college. To which I have felt the real thing in industry and open me to many projects and opportunities to success.

About Adamson U: A catholic school that promotes good values to their students.
Professors are good in their teaching performance with nice relationship to their students. Their credentials were suite to become a teacher.

My current job: RND and Support Manager, I'm a team lead where we do software and hardware testing and developing and support.

Why did I choose this school: Because the said university is quite near and cheap compare to other colleges and universities.

About Adamson U: It is a good school. It is located at the capital city, it is very accessible to public transportation. Sometimes it is noisy and crowded outside the campus but inside, the ambiance is ok. You can focus on your studies. The professors have good teaching techniques. I learned a lot and was inspired by them.

The tuition fees in this school were more affordable than any other known school and many students from other schools transfer here, because the effect of cramming in other school does not let them learn, but they only fail that's why I chose to stay here in this school.

About Adamson U: The atmosphere in Adamson suited me well because students treat others with respect and professors teach students in a very best way. The facilities in this school shows more of what we are paying and that's what I also liked in this school.

My current job: Right now I am a call center agent, but I'm planning to find another job. I am also teaching English online to a Koreans.

My current job: Currently I'm working as Software Engineer which manages system monitoring and incident management. I also provide user acceptance testing to ensure quality before deploying any codes in production.

All of the students are friendly (you can call them "klasmeyt" even if it's aren't because of the "nakasanayan" approach to the point when you shout kasmeyt, everyone will look at you because they thought it's them you are calling), approachable, kind, God-fearing, and well-disciplined. You can easily adjust. The school is clean and relaxing.
Professors:
They are REALLY good. For me, I am grateful to have professors like them. I'm not what I am today without those knowledge and values you've given us!
Facilities:
From 1-10, I'll rate it at 9. It's worth the "tuition" LOL!
