list bulletAbout my college education: It was a bit bland, to be frank. The degree program I chose was relatively easy. Most of my fellow students paid more attention to matters other than academics. It's not particularly difficult, but one has to stay focused on things that really matter.

Helpful skills would be good information gathering and retention skills, open-mindedness, willingness to work with others.

list bulletAm I using what I learned in college: One skill I acquired during college that turned out to be important is the development and maintenance of social skills. It is highly necessary to maintain a certain degree of professionalism.
Although the specifics of my college classes have long since been lost, I found the general knowledge pretty useful as a backbone for further learning. Being able to speak in front of a large audience also turned out to be useful, more so because I tend to get nervous when it comes to public speaking.

list bulletAdvice to people who are thinking of studying this course: To all incoming freshies: If you think you really wanted to be an environmentalist, by this time I have a clear conscience to remind you that you will just destroy your zealous spirit and enthusiasm if you opted to enroll here in PSU Binmaley. I am not destroying the image of the said institution but just giving you a friendly reminder if ever you have this "standard" when looking for an ideal college education.

◈ Studied BS in Environmental Science
◈ At Mindanao State University - Naawan
◈ Graduated 2006

list bulletAbout my college education: Environmental Science course was very interesting because it deals with an interdisciplinary academic field that integrates physical and biological sciences, the study of the environment, and the solution of environmental problems. Environmental science also provides an integrated, quantitative, and interdisciplinary approach to the study of environmental systems. What I like most of this course is very challenging and I can be more close to our environment for me to know the aqua and terrestrial habitat of our ecosystem- and its function as well. It was not difficult for me to take this course because I’m already a nature's lover.
