Why did I choose Associate in Computer Technology: I chose this particular course not because it was in demand, but because I like to do things that inline in this, example being nice doing some experiment in my personal computer before, and such things that makes me happy. And also I chose this course because this is the best program that would fit on in all aspects as well as it is only a 2 year degree course and this is only the things we can afford to.

About my college education: This is a course that is not actually so hard to understand, since this is a ladderise course from information technology, I would say that the difficult part of this course is just in the moderate level, moderate if we really like most aspects of this course. If you like to use and to experiment computers then it would be fit on you.

The most enjoyable part of this course was you got most of the lessons and topics that make you wonder and crazy before, from the question how this things work, where did it came from, a question from being a computer destroyer to a computer professional today, it's sounds funny but it was a fact. I also use to enjoy interacting with some people because com tech is not only focuses in computer understanding but also in socializing characteristic.

The boring part of this course was when you actually don’t understand what your professor discussing. And if you don’t understand the lesson of course it will going to be risk for you and some failure in terms of examination and actual performance might come, so don’t mind if you did not understand just ask the mentor until you finally understand the lesson.

The interesting part of this program was when you finished the assign task for you, things like assembling and disassembling the computer, troubleshoot it using manual approach, exam without reading and reviewing your notes that will makes you realize how hard and happy to be an student from the beginning till the end your journey.

Lastly there is no traits and attitude are required for this course as long as you want what you’re doing and taking, as well as you can cope up with the course and with the people surrounds you, then you can attain your goals and aspirations in your life.

My current job: Well right now my current job is an office staff at Ramcar Technology Inc. It is a manufacturer of batteries of different machinery in our country, then I use to be the one who check our employee’s daily performance make some report deals with our production, encrypting some important and confidential records, coordinating the requirements and documents of our employees, now I’m looking forward for another things that I’m going to acquire.

How long did it take to find a job: Since I graduated last April 12, 2014, I started looking for job opportunities that in line with my knowledge, it took almost 2 months of going everywhere before I got a job, it was so difficult to find a job but patience is a virtue so I did not take my failure change me but I take it as an advantage in finding my right job.

Advice to people who are thinking of studying this course: I have lot of things I want to give advice on those students considering to take this kind of development, first they must know that choosing the right course is a big decision and it is important to get a right as it can impact their interest.

If you are interested in line that deals with computer aspects I want to endorse and to recommend to take this course, but in the end choosing the best course in not only just because you want the course but make sure you consider all the characteristics in terms of the interests, course content, school, quality, education, cost requirements and last career opportunity.

About my college education: You need programming skills and logical skills.

My current job: CNC Programmer by means of radan software and AP100 software

Am I using what I learned in college: Logically speaking I'm using it, but programming speaking I'm not.

Why did I choose Associate in Computer Technology: Computer Science courses were one of the most in demand courses. You could find jobs easily or land in a good position if you had a background on computers. This was the fastest growing course so I choose this course.

About my college education: The course is fast paced and easy to comprehend. It's educational and we were taught most of the basic and advantage subjects on the computers during those days.

My current job: Online site support agent.
I work as an agent on site and answer all the basic to advance questions regarding the sites services.

Am I using what I learned in college: Computer skills that are basic in obtaining a good computer job, is the first skill that I have learned in school. Without a doubt my college education helped me a lot on my work until this very day.

How long did it take to find a job: It took me around 6 months to find a job after graduation. My first job was a graphic artist for an art sign in the locality.

Do I recommend studying Associate in Computer Technology: This is a good course that landed me to a good job. This course helps me find some good jobs that I have applied for. Computer knowledge is one of the first skills that an employer check when they look at my resume. I'm so thankful that I have learned a lot of practical and functional computer skills to be used for everyday living.

Advice to people who are thinking of studying this course: This is a good course and if you want to continue to Computer Science soon you will not encounter any problem. All the subjects being taught on the school can be practically used to our future jobs.

About my college education: Studying Computer Technology is enjoyable and challenging for me because since I was a child I am really fascinated in anything about computer.
In order to succeed in any course regarding computer you must have an analytical skills, you must be hardworking, problem solver and creative since you will encounter different kinds of programming languages and graphic designs.

Am I using what I learned in college: I still use some of what I learned in College like graphic designing, computer troubleshooting, and network maintenance

Do I recommend studying Associate in Computer Technology: Yes, I recommend any course regarding computers. There are a lot of jobs for those who know computers. Even in BPO industry most of the jobs available requires you to be computer skilled. And you can even be a freelancer.

About my college education: I've learned visual basic programming. Programming subjects were the most useful things I've learned. History was the difficult subject for me because I'm not good in memorization. Everyone of us didn't experience failure in the exams, because our instructors gave us enough time to study before the exams.
Patience is required for succeeding this course.

My current job: I'm currently working as Workforce Specialist I.
I do real time monitoring and sending reports to our client.

Am I using what I learned in college: I used my analytic thinking in my present job.

How long did it take to find a job: I already had job before I graduated, I was a working student.

Don't bet on the credentials that you might get from getting good quality education. Go for universities.

Am I using what I learned in college: I learned basics but not that practical. There is a need to self study and enroll additional skills outside the classroom after graduation.
I still studied outside the college and earned certificates. I am using what I learned from another educational institution which is Cisco certification.

How long did it take to find a job: 2 years

Do I recommend studying Associate in Computer Technology: The course I took is now obsolete. They do not offer it anymore. It is better to study BSIT or BS Psychology.

Why did I choose Associate in Computer Technology: Because I love troubleshooting computer and in front of the computer.

About my college education: The difficult part is memorizing the codes, the enjoyable is when you doing a program with your classmates and the boring part is when we are doing nothing because the professors are absent.

My current job: My current job is an internet cafe attendant, logging in the customer is what I do.

Am I using what I learned in college: as a internet cafe I must know how to trouble shoot personal computer so if there is a problem I can fix it.

How long did it take to find a job: Since I graduated last April so I am still seeking for a stable job.

About my college education: I learn how to build a computer. How to reformat and install all needed files in a computer.
For me computer programming is one of the difficult part of my college life. This subject give a headache to me hehe...
I think a computer formatting and installing is the most useful thing I learned.



My current job: I'm here in Saudi as a teaboy in Saudi British bank. I need a good experience here to travel to another country. And apply my course to my next work or job.

Am I using what I learned in college: Sometimes I have a sideline here. For example my staff need my help about computer problems, sometimes like no signal in monitor screen, always restart.

How long did it take to find a job: Maybe 4 months.

Do I recommend studying Associate in Computer Technology: For computer graduate more opportunities here in Saudi and the salary is good. My friend here he is a computer technician, He earn 3,500 Riyal a month.
