Why did I choose BSBA in Business Economics: I chose to study this particular course because economics is a flexible course. You will be able to touch Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and even understand entrepreneurship.

About my college education: The course for me was challenging. At times, you would find it difficult but interesting. There is a thrill once you are in this course especially when you are around your cool professors. It is fun in the sense that sometimes you would find each situation congruent or at least comparable to the theories you study inside the class. For you to survive and succeed in this course, you need to be analytic and open for possibilities. You need to be a fighter to finish this course. I tell you, it would be difficult but everything would be worth it.

When you are an economics graduate, you fully appreciate the role of the government together in partnership with private entities. Moreover, you get to know what causes poverty and it gives you a chance to understand on how you could fully help in poverty alleviation.

My current job: I am a Research Analyst at Republic Biscuit Corporation. I do technical research on market data and determine the veracity of the data gathered.

Am I using what I learned in college: What I have learned in college is very helpful in my current job. It enabled me to think out of the box, it enabled me to be an asset to the company I'm working with. The analytical side of me have been very helpful. The way I deal with things is more strategic.

How long did it take to find a job: It took me 2 months to find my ideal and right job after graduation. I could say that there was a lot of offers and calls even before graduation but of course, I still had to consider standards before accepting the job offer.

Do I recommend studying BSBA in Business Economics: The employment opportunities after you graduate are endless. For sure, you could have numerous job titles because this course is flexible. The salary level is good and benefits are maximized for every economics graduate.

Advice to people who are thinking of studying this course: My advice for those people in considering studying in this course is that, be ready to face hundreds of real economic situations that would show up as you participate in the course. Do not give up because at the end of the road, everything is priceless. It is fulfilling. Every theory comes naturally to you that you can relate it to your real life situations.

About my college education: Looking back, my years in college involved a lot of long hours and hard work. It helped though that I met a lot of friends thru clubs who were willing to share their thoughts (and notes!). It helped also that I have a passion for numbers.

My current job: Finance Manager

Am I using what I learned in college: The discipline of Economics taught me how to analyze and probe deeper which has served me well in understanding trends or issues confronting the business. The discipline of Business, on the other hand, gave me my basic knowledge of accounting which became the cornerstone in helping me understand financial statements.

How long did it take to find a job: 1 month

Do I recommend studying Business Economics: I can recommend this course because it opens doors for you, but if at the outset you already know you really want a career in Finance, I would recommend you take up Accountancy, since more opportunities are available in Finance if you are a CPA.

About my college education: I have a lot of things learned at college, like how calculate big amounts, how to socialize, be an academic leader and etc.
All subjects, assignments, and projects are pretty hard, enough for an intellectual students.It was enjoyable in doing some outdoor activities. Exams were pretty hard, but then no one failed and worked individually.
You need determination to achieve dreams.

My current job: I have a small business right now, I buy and sell business and a Real Estate.

Am I using what I learned in college: All of learning brought in college are very useful in my current job.

How long did it take to find a job: A month before graduation.

About my college education: First impression, its so hard. but after you learn its course you'll find it interesting and enjoyable, but I've realize studying my course is not enough, its just merely a basic learning on something to pursue on.

Why did I choose BSBA in Business Economics: I am not the one who chose this course, it is the school who decided.

About my college education: My course is quite interesting because you will learn a lot about the economy not only in the Philippines but also the the world's economy. But it is very difficult especially the solving and the theory part it's very stressing to study stuffs which you still need to assume.

You need to study hard, be open-minded, willingness to learn.

Do I recommend studying BSBA in Business Economics: For me I would not really recommend this course to anyone because for me who never loved this course learned less and I think there are only few things that I can incorporate to job opportunities with the things that I learned from college.

Advice to people who are thinking of studying this course: People who wants to study in this course needs to love the course because if you do not love it you will not be interested in every single detail that your professors are talking about.
