Program Overview
The Master of Arts in Education major in Filipino program (MAED-FIL) is designed for professional teachers and school managers.
The program begins with the core courses in education and research and is geared towards developing specialized skills and competencies in teaching the Filipino language as well as curriculum development. It also prepares professionals for doctoral degrees leading to research, writing, teaching, etc.
Admission requirements for the MAEd in Filipino program in the Philippines
- Must have recommendation from previous college dean and previous employer
- Must take and pass the entrance examination for the master’s program
- Must have most recent medical and dental health record
- Must have at least 2 years of related teaching experience
- Must have the Original copy of the transcript of records
- Must have a copy of NSO certified birth certificate
- Must have a certificate of good moral character
- Must have a copy of the honourable dismissal
- Must have a copy of college diploma
- One 2”x 2” copy of latest photo
