Reviews of Bachelor of Music in Music Education graduates:

list bulletAbout my college education: It is interesting because I love music, that is my passion. It is difficult because of the difficult subjects and the new skills in music that I need to learn. It is enjoyable because I feel glad that whenever I perform or teach people, they were inspired and became happy. It is challenging because the new skills were difficult that really need my full attention, time, money and effort.

The student needs to be really patient and hard working in practicing the repertoire for voice and piano or other instruments in order to get the skills needed to be mastered. Though the student is very talented still he needs to practice as in correct practice to be able to gain more skills and be more equipped.

list bulletMy current job: I am a music teacher in Sarasas Witaed Nimitmai school, Bangkok Thailand. I teach choir, keyboard class and insight music class.

list bulletAm I using what I learned in college: Yes, definitely. I am now using the skills that the school were I graduated taught me. They were very useful.

list bulletHow long did it take to find a job: Before my graduation there was a teacher in the school in Las Pinas (School of Jesus Academy) who already talked to me about getting me as their music teacher in the said school. I taught there for 6 months, then I transferred to AUP, I taught there for almost 8 years.

list bulletDo I recommend studying Music in Music Education: Yes. If the student has interest and has the talent in music, I do recommend him to take music. The salary is better with extra pay for private music lessons and you will be really fulfilled specially when you see your product already performing very well.
