The Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management Program aims to:
1. Develop and discover students' talents, interests, and potentials to become a successful hospitality professional;
2. Inculcate values and work ethics as essential factors in socio-economic development;
3. Promote professionalism in the hospitality practice.
Outcomes:
Graduates of Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management are expected to:
1. Perform work activities effectively and efficiently to the standards expected in the operation if the hotel and restaurant industry;
2. Undertake tasks, functions, duties and activities in the operation of the hotel, restaurant, travel, goverment and non-government agencies in accordance with the competency standards;
3. Carry-out the knowlegde and skills learned in housekeeping, front office, food and beverage, and bartending departments;
4. Aquire National Certificates in housekeeping, front office, food and beverage, and bartending;
5. Demostrate correct implementation and actions in any given situation in the hospitality industry;
6. Communicate effectively and engage in life-long learning;
7. Demonstrate personal qualities like self-confidence, integrity, honesty, sociability, sense of urgency and commitment.
