Scholarships at University of Bohol:

A. Academic Scholarship

1. COLLEGE FRESHMEN
Honor graduates from high school will be given the following privileges regardless of school origin:

Valedictorian ----- 100% on tuition fees for 2 regular semesters
Salutatorian ----- 75% on tuition fees for 2 regular semesters
1st Honorable Mention ----- 50% on tiotion fees for 2 regular semesters
2nd Honorable Mention (UB Only) ----- 50% on tuition fees for 2 regular semesters

2. COLLEGE STUDENTS (2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th year) with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of:

1.0 - 1.25 ----- 100% on tuition fees
1.25 - 1.50 ----- 50% on tuition fees

3. COLLEGE OF LAW Students will receive the following privileges:
For 1st year students who graduated honor students from their Bachelor's Degree:

Summa Cum Laude ----- 100% free tuition fee
Magna Cum Laude ----- 75% free tuition fee
Cum Laude ----- 50% free tuition fee

For (2nd, 3rd, and 4th) year students obtaining a General Passing Average (GPA) of:

1.0 - 1.25 ------- 100% on tuition fees
1.25 - 1.50 ----- 50% on tuition fees

B. Scholarship for Legal Dependents

One Parent is Full - Timer ----- (50% on Tuition Fee)
One Parent is Part - Timer ----- (45% on Tuition Fee)
Both Parents are Full - Timers ----- (60% on Tuition Fee)
One Parent is Full - Timer, the other is Part - Timer ----- (55% on Tuition Fee)
Both Parents are Part - Timers ----- (50% on Tuition Fee)

This discount is available to four (4) dependents, including spouse. Counting of persons entitled to this previlege shall start from the one with the lowest school charge.

For a child to avail of this scholarship, he should be legitimate, adopted and legitimated, not married, not older than twenty three (23) years old.

COLLEGE STUDENTS (2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th year) with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of:
1.0 - 1.25 ----- 100% on tuition fees
1.25 - 1.50 ----- 50% on tuition fees

Academically performing dependents may enjoy the following tuition fe discounts:

• Those with GPA of 1.1 - 1.4 ----- (100% on Tuition Fee)
• Those with GPA of 1.5 - 1.9 ----- (75% on Tuition Fee)

C. Family Relations

Member of the same family, i.e. Brothers and sisters under one support who are enrolled in the elementary, high school, or in any undergaduate or graduate courses of the university are granted on the following discounts on tuition fee:

• Two (2) brothers/sisters ----- 10% discount on one with the lowest tuition fee
• Three (3) or more brothers/sisters ----- 10% discount for both

However, these discount should not be cumulative with other discounts which the students may be entitled to.

Brothers and sisters who are honor students may enjoy the previlege granted to honor students but will be excluded in the number of family relations to enjoy discounts.
