Course description:
The Management Accounting program of the College is a business management variant that provides people with the necessary managerial knowledge and skills for the efficient application of techniques in the Controllership operations of public entities, corporate enterprises and business entrepreneurs covering strategic planning, budgeting, financial accounting, financial analysis and reporting, cost accounting, management performance accounting, investment management, internal control systems, inventory control, asset management, and risk management.
The Management Accounting program also serves as an excellent platform for supplementation of knowledge in order that students may obtain professional qualifications and certifications that are internationally recognized such as Certified Management Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Forensic Accountant, and Certified Fraud Examiner. The Management Accounting graduate also has the opportunity to pursue and obtain a master’s degree in management or alternatively, pursue a law degree for the purpose of becoming a member of the Bar.
